HELINA was initially being developed for Chetaks only later when LCH got developed Indian Army asked for more mid way by arming the Helis.

So whose fault is it . The end users like Indian Army want changes midway like 8+ Kms HELINA or reducing the weight of NAMICA for NAG.
The NAG already has 8 kms range with specialised Sustainers , Boosters , guidance aids , 2 way RF data link jam proof system already developed but the SEEKER cannot target beyond 4 kms currently because lack of end user specification during development phase , and freezing of GSQRs all these happened during the time of the Congress govt
Don't worry our elite armoured corps an make do currently without . Plus the test will take place in 2018 so wait for another 18 to 22 months .

The 15 kms range Dhruvastra will be in quadpack only very few attack Helis can carry quad pack ATGM
