After Philippines, USA starts losing Malaysia to China

. .
unfortunately US has lost it's all Allies due to their policies.

I would always to said Malaysia is never been an US ally, not in the past nor in current times. Indeed they were a partner in various field, but hell no they were an ally. Since Mahattir era, Malaysia had different opinions with US about Palestinian and Israel issue, so there is no need a brain to describe US-Malaysia relationship.

Historically, Malaysia is in an alliance structures with Australia, NZ and UK. And Malaysia once had feel indefferent at one points with USA about Sabah issue with US ally in ASEAN, Philippine. The issue bring Malaysia not to distrust US too much in their security agenda.

I guess some countries prefer development and business over eternal war.

In the long run, that's the winning formula. Unbalanced aggressiveness is self-defeating.

Closer partnership with Malaysia is a welcome news. As has been pointed out above, it helps ease the Malacca problem.

But, the real issue, First Island Chain, stays. While worrying about Malacca, which is relatively far from China's coasts hence more difficult to project force, China needs to eventually shatter the First Island Chain containment.

The key to break through it is Taiwan. Either via Taiwan or over Taiwan, it has to be broken through. In any case, Taiwan will simply be absorbed by the expanding power of Mainland.

Never really think the U.S. ever lost Malaysia to begin with since it never belonged to us.
