After gunning them down how do you secure these area permanently ?

come back to the basics.. talk ..negotiate..give them rights

if you do this in the start there is no problem, but u fail politically then military action and than again a political solution.

Majority of the insurgencies in NE have laid down the arms due to the successfull negotiation from the govt.

Even the largest insurgent organisation in NE ,ULFA has been split up into two factions with one supporting talks with the govt.

People with anti-Pakistani ideology and terrorism involved against Pakistan are is roaming free in Pakistan whilst the oppressed students from oppressed nation, raped and slaughtered by Indian soldiers, continues to be oppressed in India, the oppressor whether in India or Indian illegally occupied Kashmir.
