After India denies visa to Pak official, Islamabad cries foul

.
Why punish the Sikhs? Let bhartis be bhartis, don't have to stoop to their level.

Not about stooping down to their level, its about straightening then out. If Pakistan bans travel for them they will bitch to GOI and so then maybe GOI will learn that they should not act like children banning visas for no reason. :)

lol thanks dear, but your profile pics is very dear to most Indians here, yes relations have gone very sour now although in BJP times they always have improved or looked to be getting a bit better
Initially the headgear looked weird but seeing regularly on pdf you start liking it

I think the point made in the article was that the Indian yoga instructors were denied visas for no reason, so this was tit for tat.

Pak is always very aggrieved and surprised when anyone returns them the same coin they pass around.

You want to compare 2 yoga instructors with a diplomat?

Not just that, Close Pakistani Airspace to all flights to and from India, and then see what happens! :coffee:

Actually the reverse is true!!

Pakistan is a small country, a short detour from south and North of Pakistan, will allow flight too and from India, without inordinate delays.

Imagine what will happen, If India stop all flights too and from Pakistan?
No flight from South or East Asia can land in Pakistan.

But what you are suggesting is not possible..right of innocent passage can not be denied to neutral carriers.

Your delusions of grandeur make you forget 2002

"The civil aviation ministry is seeking more support from the finance ministry to negate the losses that Air India, Indian Airlines and Airports Authority of India are going to suffer due to Pakistan's reciprocal action of closing airspace for Indian planes from on Tuesday.

Air India would lose Rs 40 crore a year and Indian Airlines Rs 3.64 crore due to closure of Pakistani airspace and the carriers would incur more losses due to flights having to take longer routes to avoid Pakistan, civil aviation minister Syed Shahnawaz Hussain said on Tuesday."

Those are national carriers of India and Pakistan..who's overflights were banned..Pakistan does not have a national carrier worth its salt, it is already loss making body which flies to a very few destinations..hence the overflight ban which only pertains to PIA..does not make much difference...As it hardly flies to South East Asian countries.

Where as you were suggesting all overfights from and too India to be banned and vice versa.
In that case airlines flying to India would suffer some losses..which will lead to increase ticket prices..thats it, where as flight too and from Pakistan to South East Asia or even Australia will simply not exist!!

.
The way Diplomatic Relationships are worsening, Pakistan might ask India to shut down some of its conciliates shortly

.
Sikhs come to Pakistan every year they should be banned, that would straighten them out.

Why should we stoop down to level that Indians play at? The more Sikhs come, the more they will know about Pakistan and not the bullshyt fed by their government/media

Actually, Pakistan can ban all flights originating and coming to India....whether Air India or not...since most of Indian traffic to the west flies through Pakistani airspace. Meanwhile, most Pakistani traffic east is carried via the ME3 carriers...so India can't really ban them...since they don't originate in Pakistan. Only PIA....

We can ban all flights who's destination is too or from Pakistan.(i.e suppose to land or take off from Pakistan)..irrespective of the carrier.

What can you do then ..those flights will simply have to cancel..as there is no other alternative.

Pakistan banning overflights to India is a maximum one hour delay..where as India banning all overflights will be disaster for your nation..your airports will start shutting down.

The amount of traffic going east from Pakistan is way way less that that goes west from India. So yea, India will be screwing itself. And PIA flights to China already route over the Karakorams in Pakistan Kashmir.....so India can't touch those and those going to Japan can be rerouted. The only airline India can directly affect is Thai Airways.

On the other hand, Lufthansa, BA, Delta, El AL, Emirates etc all flights from India to west go over Pakistan. Good luck
