More examples of world leaders shunning and avoiding what you think is a fascist, banana republic.

Did Pakistan ever denied that are Pakistan based, Pakistan banned those outfit...pre-empt you sukaaaas.

For future joint statements, Modi should also include following truths
1- Birds fly
2. Cows milk
3. and Rabits breed like Indians.

. . .
The present Pakistani members situation is just like is, that of the relatives of patients when they are told that their dear ones have been diagnosed with a terminal kind of infection and they better be careful of their own health.

THEY just laugh at the doctors.

Yes, but it is a bit more complicated.

A few years back when I first joined pdf, I used to say something along the lines of, "wait until we escalate the dialogue against pak" but some pakistani posters were adamant that India wouldn't be able to even make other countries accept our "rhetoric".
And here we are now.

So all this bluff and bluster from pak posters is more, them fearing how we will escalate the situation in the future not that they'll accept that in front of us Bharatis.

. .
it does not matter who signs and releases statements, Pakistan rejects them all !

What about another, that Pakistanis launch adventures that end up harming them every time?

Statements are of no of use, they are good as useless.
Sanctions ,travel restrictions, assets seizure, threat of arrest & conviction..etc will show more real genuine concern.

How different is mumbai attacks different from 9/11 ? It is only we have not followed it with the absolute concern and seriousness it deserves. Even a small country like israel shows more gumption to after terrorists while we keep harping about criminals like dawood.

If we had made them pay a heavy price for sheltering dawood they would not have dared to think about doing mumbai.

Below response is exactly what I said.
I don't know what are practical implications of that statement, at least not for now but Japan is investing in Pakistan for now and investments are only going to increase in 5 years. Naming and shaming will continue and business will continue as well.

Could you suggest some practical measures that could have been taken but were not done?

So the US-2 deal was signed then? As if naming groups has any effect

Not a single practical measure that India can undertake without inviting massive destruction or progress rollback on itself- so besides statements that hardly ever translate into useful actions other than the online twitterati feeds of reality tv stars; India really hasn't achieved a thing with these statements.

The only thing it was able to achieve was via formenting terrorism in Balochistan & FATA by its ridiculous number of consulates- hence confirming that only bloodshed between two nuclear armed neighbors sitting with millions upon millions within 5 minute warning times to nuclear attack- is the solution to the issues

I agree that India has achieved nothing with these statements, precisely for the reason that you have mentioned, that not a single practical measure could have been taken that would not involve a massive retaliation. This was precisely the point I wanted to make.

Regarding the rest, may I point out that there are no ridiculous number of consulates of India on Afghan soil. This ranks with the 700,000 Indian soldiers in Kashmir urban legend.

There are precisely five Indian diplomatic missions (an embassy) or consulates within Afghanistan, located respectively at Jalalabad, Kandahar, Mazhar-i-sharif, Herat and, of course, Kabul.

It may (or may not) amuse you to know that this is identical to those of Pakistan. Precisely the same.

Whether or not there has been Indian interference with Balochistan is a different matter; it was certainly not supported by the number of consulates my country maintains.

Sanctions or extra taxes on entities which do business with pakistan military in India.
Chinese , middle east companies can be initial target which can be later extended to other countries . Extra taxes though in violation WTO norms will obviously invite counter retaliatory taxes but we should be able to ride that out.

At least at military level we should debar suppliers (and related companies) who sell weapons to pakistan from Indian contracts. Disallow Indian airspace usage for flights originating or connecting to pakistan. Boeing or airbus cannot be bullied but pepsi or coke can certainly be pushed around. A good example would be suzuki which derives more profits from India.

ISI / pakistan military officials involved in 26/11 attacks should be named and specifically targeted for travel bans. Even if it does not give much results the pressure should be maintained. Just focusing on some stupid pawns like masood azhar is good for nothing.

Forget about mumbai why hasnt India even taken up with EU about presence of criminals like masood azhar who was released in a hijack?

With our current economic strength we obviously cannot target every one but we can selectively hit against companies/countries. Entities like EU/US use human rights as an excuse for imposing their policies why cant we do the same?
