After Amphan, India brace for Nisarga, set to hit from west in Maharashtra.

Cyclone in Mumbai: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that the cyclonic storm Nisarga, which has turned into a depression in the Arabian Sea, will hit Maharashtra and Gujarat on June 3. This cyclonic storm could be the first tropical cyclone in 129 years to hit Maharashtra in the month of June. At the moment, the storm is brewing in the Arabian sea near Lakshadweep. The IMD had earlier issued an orange alert for Mumbai and Thane and a red alert for Palgarh. This threat comes at a time when the state of Maharashtra is already struggling with a dramatic rise in its number of coronavirus cases — already past the 70,000 mark.
The spread of the cyclone may bring rains in costal districts of sindh Pakistan which will have a positive effect on the local agriculture, meanwhile these early rain may also increase the locusts attacks in both countries because the availability of foliage to locusts sawrms already present in the area will help them to propagate to many folds when they lay their eggs in desert area where this cyclone is anticipated to pour in heavy rains, , this could be again a disaster for the post Covid 19 struck neighboring nations with weakening economies,

lets hope that we dont lose anyone in this

Amphan from east, nisarga from west, nepal and China in north, and corona and locusts within. I wonder how Indian establishment still focused on Pakistan with all the shit storm they are within.

Climate change. Rain is good.....but we must wipe out locusts.

Damn. Indian financial hub Mumbai is in direct path!! With ongoing Corona rampage, this is looking menacing.

What are the SoPs for such a large city like Mumbai?

I can honestly tell you Karachi relies solely on Patron Saint Ghazi from these natural elements.

The city administration is probably the worse in Pakistan in Karachi.

Kahan pe cyclone?
The weather is real nice and pleasant. Bombay feels like a hill station.

Thank you universe,

Karachi does not lie on a cyclone path. It doesn't even lie on the monsoon belt. Thora science bhi parh lo. The cyclone prone area in Indian Ocean is the Bay of Bengal. Cyclones affect Karachi and the Arabian Sea but rarely and usually of low intensity.

Brother Shahbaaz here has no finesse, whatsoever.

Its Shahbaz.

Praise The Lord He has kept the cyclones away from Pakistan.

Allah O Akbar.

Didn't see your "Allahu Akbar, they deserved it" comment on that thread. Why?
