The report that he quoted and which you are referring to has nothing to do with 2001, Vajpayee was the PM at that time not Manmohan Singh. Pakistan ran to the US, SA and China to avoid war which seemed inevitable from our side. India mobilized first even against repeated requests from the US and UN. India was bent on going the whole hog and taking the war to the limit. Musharraf blinked first and requested a letdown of tensions assuring India that Pak will take serious actions against the LET and JEM which they followed up with some arrests.

Have you seen the trajectory of security situation of Pakistan since 26/11.. A lot of Pakistanis believe its handiwork of RAW.. May be they are right...who knows.. as you rightly say, certainly none of the internet warriors on this forum

As for this incident which you keep referring to, US asked Pak to deploy more troops on its western border to which Pak said that's bcos India has deployed many troops on their border Pak has deployed considerable troops on its border with India.
After this The US asked Manmohan why India has deployed troops on its border to which Manmohan singh replied that India's troops are well within its borders so u can ask Pakistan to redeploy its troops to its western border because we do not intend on attacking Pak.

PA pumps looted american aid into Pakistani stock and realty sector and these helps Pakistani economy to grow, there is CBS video where Pakistani PM way back in 1954 was interviewed by US media at show called face the nation excepted that American was supporting 40% of their budget and with american aid PA funded a percentage(rest was funded by saudi) nuke program and also got F16.
India during the 80s had great difficultly is affording mirage 2000s.
