Well, it depends. Most Muslims countries in the middle east, North Africa and South Asia to a lesser extent have laws that limits or prohibits other religions like Christianity, Buddhists etc from publicly/openly preaching their religion or converting Muslims. This kind of law is not that prevalent in Christian countries in Europe, America, Australia etc simply because of history and religion. Many developed Christian countries are less religious nowadays and they are less inclined to formulate laws that limits the preaching /conversion of other religions other than Christianity. So they have outgrown that era and thinking. Even if you tried to passed such a law in any European, American country it won't even been considered for debate in Parliament. Since it will be a non issue(nobody will support it)nothing has two faces!!!!!!!!! Everything has a face and a back....
The different between Nazis and Muslims is that NAZI clearly claimed what they want to do(everyone who read Mein Kampf befor ww2 did exactly know what Hitler wants) ... and asked no one for understanding or acceptance or tollerance...
The big different is in the name of Muslim religion you ask the world for tollerance and understanding... and you give zerro to other religions...
There is not a single christian country in the world were it is forbidden to own a coran... in Saudi Arabis it is forbidden... lets talk about tollerance...
In Muslim dominated country all around the world other religion are under extrem pressure... such behaivor you dont find in nations against muslims with a muslim minority.
BTW because exactly of our HISTORY the behaivor of muslims in Germany calling for intifada bruning national symbols and try to attack synagog is NOT ACCEPTABLE ...
The problem is .... they are lot more than "some idiots"... pretty normal that you find in every society around the world the same ammount of bad people/idots... what is shocking is the number and that all over europe not only in Germany...as we have learned the same happend in Sweden...
During the last pro palestina demonstration in Munic, the muslim organisator decited to stop the demonstration because the largest part of the young muslims completely went out of controll... he finished the demonstration with the word "you act like animals"....that to his own muslim brothers...
During the demonstration they tryed to attack a small group of pro israel demonstrators (three people with a falg and a banner) and that with police nearby (they even ignored the german police as they told them to stay away from the three and directly attacked the three pro israel protester under the eyes of the police...as the police grabbed the attacker and pushed them unfriendly to the side they screamed like litte babys because of the unfair police brutality...
there are to often and to many "some idiots" ... not acceptable

So I don't think we can blame Muslim countries for being more religious and less tolerant of other religions to preach to (and convert) their people. It's their country and religion, so they are free to do as they please. They have a different way of seeing things, different culture, values, religion and way of life. So we can't expect them to be like us or adopt our laws in regards to religion. So the fact that Christian countries in the west don't have such restrictive laws doesn't means Muslim countries should follow their lead. Every country is different.
