Emotions emotions emotions!
we are no longer using low quality Pakistani wheat as I said it's been only used by villages bordering from last 2 years we have grown up enough wheat and corn to even export it!
1,000 metric tonnes produced in Afghanistan is 1/4th of what you are getting from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa alone.
low quality wheat? i'd like to think we keep the best quality for ourselves and just give you the leftovers at the bottom of the crate.....beggars can't be choosers. Be happy that despite the badmashi coming from your side that the border is even open. If we were like Turkey or Iran, there would be F-16s flying over Kabul for every mortar or arty shell you send to our villages in Bajaur and elsewhere (just another example of Afghanistan's govt. stabbing itself and its people in the foot)
and about cement? 2 factories have just opened and 1 big other is on bid to open which will overcome all of our needs and fertilizers it's good we are not producing any we will import it from some where else and for gods sake all this long we imported anything from Pakistan was not free we paid you!!
at least as far as national income is concerned you guys gain b/c a good chunk of what is exported is re-smuggled by afghans into Pakistan (shame on us for not being more vigilant however) and sold for profit.
on cement -- it is true that Pakistan's market share is decreasing but that is more due to the fact that because of increasing overheads (caused by fuel price spike or the need for generators/UPS to overcome load shedding in certain industrial cities) it is hard to compete with Iranian cement which is relatively cheaper. Even then the eastern sector still relies heavily on goods from Pakistan side.
as for fertilizer --- you guys hardly make any....we sell you fertilizer and you guys use it to build bombs - some which end up being used against us.
forget payments...business is business. If you cant control Kabul, how can we expect you to ensure that terrorists in Afghanistan (hired guns by certain enemy elements infiltrated in your country) are or are not allowed to use Afghanistan as a base to attack Pakistan? Many of the Pakhtun tribes along the border are taking matters into their own hands now and forming lashkars to combat the terrorists from your side. And while i have reservations about civilian vigilante actions, i cant exactly blame them!
our imports created millions of jobs and billions of revenue in Pakistan you are blind to see and hurt that it's decreasing day by day
those so-called "millions" of jobs exist only b/c of foreign contractors whose boots are in your country...when that money dries up, they will think 5 times before stepping foot in Afghanistan.....
expat earnings do not constitute "state revenues"
if it did --- then using that (ill)logic --the Afghan exchequer should send a bouquet of flowers to Pakistani small businesses or informal sector which employ hundreds of thousands - if not millions of your illegal Afghan refugees (some of whom have criminal tendencies)
Your own soldiers are not safe let alone civilians secure your country first and stop spreading terrorism in neighboring countries!
a soldier is not worth his salt if he is hiding and being safe.....whereas they are out in the field kicking terrorist azzes and dying while doing it. That is war. As for terrorism, stop allowing your territory to be used against Pakistan. Until you do that and until you take charge over at least Kabul and Kandahar -- we will do whatever we have to do to safeguard our interests.
even NATO (the people really calling the shots in Kabul) sees that which is why they are always anxious to ensure that "Pakistan is onboard"
but of course if all else fails, you will spit your venom against Pakistan but you probably already have a cousin or an uncle in Pakistan with a safe-house waiting, so that when shyt hits the fan (which it might) you will have somewhere safe to hide and go to sleep and get what no others offered you
