Afghans protesting at Chaman border

Afghanistan as a nation has been virulently hostile to Pakistan since 1947.

It is unwise to have open borders between such an entity. Unless their hostility ceases.
It is better to have selectivity in this case.
Plus Afghanistan would never allow the reverse for Pakistanis.
If one's brother is hostile then one does not invite him to one's house where he could damage wife and children.

And then PAkistani's say that Afghans hate Pakistan...

Bhai, i'm totally set against our gorments actions against our brethren. As you know my views about having a border with Muslim countries; we should open up and allow all Muslims from anywhere in World to come here. After all it is the land of pure and our actions are not in keeping with that.

There are bad apples in all societies, but with love and compassion peoples heart change. What is even more upsetting is people from our country spewing hatred towards the innocent civilians because of Afghan gorment.

May Allah guide us all!
Pakistan is for Pakistanis not Afghanis who hate us

well well well. This is the way forward, gladly protest but the protest will carry weight if done in kabul. the principality over there is the sole reason..... actually afghans as a whole are the reason why we have to do this. This day came 35 years too late I wish we had done this in the 80's.

.
I feel sorry for ordinary poor Afghans, who just come to Pakistan to work & provide food for their families, but they should be protesting against their own gov.... they are to be blamed for all this....

I have nothing against Afghans I really dont and only a few years ago myself and the majority of Pakistanis would support them especially the poor

However their government has made a mistake they mouthed off and try to use india against us at the same time when Pakistani patriotism hit a major upswing

They will suffer for their mistake and Pakistan will make both them and India suffer even more in the coming years

LOCK The border and throw away the keys. Pakistan has more than enough Pathans.

CHAMAN: Dozens of Afghans Friday staged a rally against Pakistan on their Independence Day and pelted the Bab-e-Dosti gate with stones at Chaman border.

The Afghan security forces were also present on this occasion. However, they did not stop the Afghan citizens from pelting stones at the Bab-e-Dosti gate due to which the glass on the gate shattered. The angry protesters also burnt the Pakistani flag.

In retaliation, the FC closed down the Bab-e-Dosti gate due to which trade across the border came to a complete halt.

The protest was held in reaction to a similar protest tribes on the Pakistan side had held yesterday denouncing Indian Prime Minister Modi’s statement on Balochistan.

Long queues of NATO trucks and other vehicles could be seen at the border due to which traders faced immense difficulties.

Modi had sparked controversy on the Indian Independence Day on August 15 when he had alleged that Pakistan was a supporter of ‘terrorism’ and that the people of Balochistan, Gilgit and Kashmir had thanked him in the past few days.

Rallies in Balochistan were held following the controversial speech by Indian Prime Minister. A resolution was unanimously passed against Modi in Legislative assembly of Gilgit Baltistan.

Tensions had flared at Torkham earlier in July when Pakistan decided to construct a gate to monitor movement of goods and passengers across the border. Firing by Afghan forces had killed a Pakistan major and injured several. Construction of the gate was completed in August.

It is not a mistake. The NATO puppet government in Kabul is doing this deliberately.

They cannot bear Pakistan's existence. Pakistan needs to be ruthless. Her survival is at stake.
