in Pak we have quotas for afghans in our universities and medical colleges,their women deliver babies in our hospitals and then see this

Why have you opened a thread about of "Afghan's in Iran' and then posted pictures of Pak flag being burnt by Afghans?

All primitive societies and I include Pakistan in that category have tendancy to turn on their benefactors the most. So let me start. The Russian's did the most killing in Afghanistan and with it most damage. At height of Russian occupation there were over 250,000 Russian soldiers going crazy inside Afghanistan. Today all this is forgotten. On the contrary Pakistan hosted the largest number of Afghan regugees and you see Pak flags being burnt.

Secondly Iran was the second largest provider of refuge for Afghan victims of Soviet atrocties. Today this is how Iran is thanked. The Taliban would even today massacre anybody pro Iran inside Afghanistan.

USA has largly financed the present set up inside Afghanistan. In fact almost the entire Afghan edifice is built up and kept in place with US dollars. This is how the Afghans pay back.

Which country paid to build Tarbela Dam, Mangla Dam, most of Indus River system post 1960s? Which country paid to build Islamabad, which country built up Pak army, Pak Airforce, Pak Navy? Which country built lot of the cantonments like Kharian in Pakistan?

Which country has 360,000 Pakistan migrants living and enjoying the benefits of host country to the full? In which country are Pakistani community second fastest growing in numbers?

Most important, however, the CIA sent more undercover officers into the field—one of them Art Keller—to try to develop sources independent of the Pakistanis. With the United States fighting a public war in Afghanistan, it was easy enough to get more CIA officers into Kabul. The bigger problem was Pakistan, where the ISI closely monitored the number of visa applications for American officials hoping to enter the country and
kept a close watch on the CIA officers sent to man the Islamabad station. Langley needed to come up with more exotic ways to mask the identities of the spies it wanted to get into Pakistan.

One opportunity came on the morning of October 8, 2005, when a massive earthquake in the mountains of Kashmir leveled the city of Muzaffarabad and caused landslides throughout northern Pakistan. Initial Pakistani government estimates put the death toll at nearly ninety thousand people,nineteen thousand of them children
who died when schoolhouses collapsed on top of them. Billions of dollars of international aid poured into Pakistani Kashmir, and almost immediately a stream of American military helicopters crossed the border from Afghanistan to deliver humanitarian aid. The Chinook helicopters became a regular sight in Kashmir, and Pakistanis began referring to them in the local dialect as “angels of mercy .”

But the Americans were not just on a mercy mission. In the months after the earthquake, the CIA used the relief effort in Kashmir to slip covert officers into the country without the ISI’s knowledge. The American spies adopted covers of various civilian professions. ISI officials suspected that the aid mission might be a Trojan horse to get more CIA officers into Pakistan, but amid the devastation in Kashmir and the urgent need to maintain the stream of humanitarian relief, Pakistani military and intelligence officers were not in a position to challenge the credentials of all the Americans arriving in Pakistan.

we have members and supporters of almost all political parties in this forum,why not we convince them that they should tell their respective leaders to raise the issue of return of our guests in National and provincial assemblies?

I totally agree with that -- great idea.

In the US I write to my senator and congressman on issues pertaining to Afghanistan all the time -- like why is US taxpayer money going to supply C-130s to the Afghan Airforce when they cannot even maintain Humvees or why we are we not helping Afghans who helped US troops in Afghanistan. I've posted copies of my letters on this forum so other American citizens can use them too.

I'd be happy to help if there is something I can do.

Appreciate your objective reply to this malicious post, there are ignorant s everywhere and its naive to malign the whole nation, although as you can see some are trying their best
