So we expect taliban to control TTP, ISIS, BLA, BNA, BRA and alqaeda all by itself after 2 decades of war with US and NATO??? And on the other hand our lumber 1 after spending billions cant seal the border. Yeah its easy to put it on others.
The reality is, our military is increasing tensions to create excuses for american bases. We now know their modus operandi too well.

I only agree with the first half.. Iea is too decentralized and lacks proper control on their borders also politically that's creating further split groups which they dont want to... pakistan cant wait for them to gain control ..and our army held back becaus of the reservations of IK govt. until now . It has nothing to do with US bases.

KABUL: Afghanistan's acting defence minister said on Sunday that the Taliban administration would not tolerate "invasions" from its neighbours after protesting against airstrikes it says were conducted by neighbouring Pakistan.

The comments come after the Taliban administration blamed Pakistan for airstrikes that officials say killed dozens in Kunar and Khost provinces.

Pakistan, which has not confirmed any involvement in airstrikes inside Afghanistan's borders, said the two countries are "brotherly countries".

"We are facing problems and challenges from both the world and our neighbours, the clear example is invasion by them in our territory in Kunar," said Mullah Mohammad Yaqoob, acting Afghan defence minister, at a ceremony in Kabul commemorating the anniversary of the death of his father, Taliban founder Mullah Mohammad Omar.

"We can't tolerate the invasion. We have tolerated that attack. We tolerated that because of national interests, next time we might not tolerate it," he said.

Pakistan's foreign office spokesperson said when asked for comment on Yaqoob's comments that Pakistan hoped for long-term engagement with Afghanistan to secure peace.

"Pakistan and Afghanistan are brotherly countries. The governments and people of both countries regard terrorism as a serious threat and have suffered from this scourge for long time ... therefore, it is important that our two countries engage in a meaningful manner through relevant institutional channels to cooperate in countering cross-border terrorism and taking actions against terrorist groups on their soil," the spokesperson said.

The Taliban administration's foreign ministry last week called in Pakistan's ambassador to protest against the strikes. Local officials said the alleged strikes by Pakistan killed 36 people.

The United Nation's children's agency head in Afghanistan said that 20 children were killed in airstrikes in Khost and Kunar on April 16.

Since the Taliban took over Afghanistan in August, there have been numerous standoffs along the 2,600-km (1,615-mile) border with Pakistan.

Increasingly frustrated by continuing militant attacks, Pakistan's military has stepped up operations along the Afghan border in recent months.

Theirs been some border skirmishes so probably just stationing these at the border posts, in a tank-dugout position.

drones cant hold territory. They are sending tanks just as we did during previous clashes with ANA, basically the Americans gave a whole bunch of armored vehicles to Afghanistan ranging from Humvee to M117 and MRAPS. Tanks can give a befitting response. Check the video of the Iranian border guards v the Taliban, a couple of IEA armored vehicles corned the Iranian border guards in their soft skin Hilux. Also the terrain in Iran's border area as well as Pakistan's in Baluchistan make it ideal to deploy tanks.

Taliban showed up in Humvees, and captured a border guard vehicle of Iran which was basically a camo Toyota Hilux.

Our Intel is actively hunting BLA types in Iran, with the Iranians looking the other way.

They also dumped billions of dollars worth of weapons there and turned Afghanistan into major weapons and armored vehicles depot. To their delight they wish to destabilize both Iran and Pakistan.

The afghans Taliban government is misinformed. It's actually much worse. These drone attacks are probably not even Pakistani. They are American drones operating under Pakistani disguise. The Establishment has recieved a letter from America saying this will be so. So it is.

Blast tears through Kabul mosque, killing at least 10 worshippers​

A blast in the Afghan capital ripped through a Sunni mosque and killed at least 10 people on Friday, an interior ministry official said.

A wave of deadly bombings has rocked the country in the last two weeks of Ramazan — some claimed by the Islamic State group — killing dozens of civilians.

“Many worshippers were at the Khalifa Sahib mosque when the blast went off,” a survivor who gave his name as Ahmad told AFP. “Many victims were thrown off their feet.”

Mohammad Sabir, a resident in the area, said he had seen people being loaded into ambulances after the explosion. “The blast was very loud, I thought my eardrums were cracked,” he said.

Bloodied casualties were ferried in ambulances to a hospital in central Kabul but Taliban fighters barred journalists from accessing the facility.

“The blast occurred two hours after Friday prayers as worshippers were performing rituals,” interior ministry deputy spokesman Bismillah Habib told AFP, adding at least 15 people were injured.

Friday's blast came hours after Afghanistan's supreme leader Hibatullah Akhundzada praised the country's security apparatus in a message ahead of Eidul Fitr.

While he made no mention of the recent spate of bombings, he said Afghanistan had been able to build “a strong Islamic and national army,” as well as “a strong intelligence organisation”.

Several recent bombings have targeted the minority Shia community, but Friday's blast was at a Sunni mosque.

It comes a day after two bombs on separate minibuses killed at least nine people in the northern city of Mazar-i-Sharif, targeting Shia passengers heading home to break their fast.

A bomb at a Shia mosque in the city a week earlier killed at least 12 worshippers and wounded scores more.

Islamic State has claimed responsibility for several of the recent attacks.
