Afghanistan has warned that it will stop trucks carrying cargo from Pakistan from entering its territory from January 20 if Islamabad does not permit Afghan trucks to go up to the Wagah land border crossing with India.

Not sure if you read the article. There's already a deal in place whereby the Afghan trucks will be allowed to reach Wagah and Karachi starting the 20th of January. Afghanistan is just reiterating that if Pakistan doesn't hold up its end of the bargain, Pakistani trucks won't be allowed to travel through Afghanistan to Central Asia. Nothing wrong with that, is there?
