There is no sour grapes in today's world. You win some and lose some. What I meant was the reaction of Pakistanis towards Afghanistan as if they are the worst scum on earth. How would an Afghan feel about that. Pakistan was so skeptical about India's involvement in Afghanistan, because Afghanistan slipped away from their grasp.

So for Iran, it did give india access to their soil to be used for transport into the land you so despise now. How abt that.

See now pakistan is being surrounded by indian influence except of course china. You could have played the game differently.

True, but I beg to differ with the view of India surrounding Pakistan from all sides. It's purely business, economics as I can see. We might have some leverage over Afghanistan, but Iranian's have opened their door for us only for the purpose business, and I guess they would love to maintain it as it is.

In my opinion, since we are already using Iranian soil for trade with Afghanistan, we should try and do whatever we can to tap maximum export benefits from a market of about 80 Million. This will largely help us make up the losses on alleged subsidies provided to Afghanistan.

Iranians are business minded people along with gujarathis and sindhis. I agree to that. India has maintained Afghan relations for 70% business, 20% goodwill and 10% for anti pakistan activities ( yup ).

But we believe that 20% goodwill will be reciprocated somewhere, sometime.

You have had extensive relation with Afghanistan in the past as well, then plz introspect where it went wrong now. Calling Afghanis savages won't help, nor stopping trade.

Otherwise india and pakistan being mortal enemies would have stopped everything Including trade. Surely pak afghan relation is more than that.

Whoever in Afganistan or India think that Chabar will replace the role of Pakistan is either on high or really making some wild statements to appease certain section of media....Every events in South Asia is not necessary to be win loss scenario of India or Pakistan...

Chabar is intended for India to gain limited access to Central Asia, Afganistan and Iran...Afganistan will get benifit from the project which will enhance its connectivity in addition to Pakistan...Let us accept a fact that Pakistan is a player in Afganistan...You can not simply solve or bring peace in that country without bringing Pakistan into the table...Afganistan can be a case study project for India and Pakistan to cooperate with each other bring stability into the region....Pakistan can install Taliban or whoever people of Pakistan or Afganistan likes to have their own gov and allow an economic space for India to operate without any hindrance like any other regular nation do business in other countries....

US should broker a deal between Afghanistan and Pakistan. India should be kicked out of Afghanistan. Sanctions must be imposed on India for doing business with Iran.
