Afghanistan exit strategy agreed on, Pakistan issue unresolved

The ungovernable impulse to troll around of your lot is showing once again ! How come Tibet or Tibetans are relevant to Pakistan and Afghani Pashtun scenario ? :azn: Last time i checked , China is a sovereign country with a central Govt ... The state of Afghanistan from the last 200 years has been messy ! Go read some history ... There's simply no cohesion in the Afghan people ... There are just warlords and terrorist controlling their respective areas ...
Yes , it is upto Afghans to decide their future but are they even ready for that ? :azn:

Do you have some bi polar by any chance ? You are constantly making contradictory statements ... In your earlier posts , you mentioned how " PA should control the Durand Line " then resorted to " NATO cant control it " and now " nobody can control it " scenario ... Make up your mind what your stance is ...

India having measure of control of Tibet ? ... Think you can deal with PLA ? Is Nehru once again alive repeating the " FORWARD POLICY " ? Want a repeat of '62 ? :azn: ... Tibet is peaceful and prosperous ... Want me to divert the topic to Kashmir ? The state of the region and human rights of the people ?

Be on topic ... Or else the Report Button is just a click away ...

First of all my statements are not contradictory. I said it is impossible to control the Durand line. I only said that Nato's special forces and ANA can defend cities from Taliban occupation, But that does not mean terror from taliban will stop.
Read Afganistan's history and post. Afganistan is mostly unstable after soviet occupation.
I have only said as a neighbhouring country Pakistan should not allow terror groups to utilize its territory.

I am answering to "Iajj" post not making any statements about control of Tibet read my post clearly. You can report and get banned yourself with these meaning less threats.

.
historically there was enough tibetan internecine rivalry and bloodshedding between different sects of the lamaist cult, and beijing had to intervene anyway - and eventually beijing learned just to garrison troops there to take care of a bunch of lamaists who couldn't take care of themselves and deserved no political sovereignty.

and china was perfectly willingly to deal with the tibetans who fled to india who are criminals anyway. but indians didn't take them in reluctantly; it SHIELDED these criminals just to needle china. if india were sincere in solving this problems, it could ship all of them back to china tomorrow; alternatively, china could ship some quality bullets to india via DHL and pay for the mass graves in india as well.

in the end, the welfare of two hundred million pakistans outweigh the well being of a few afghans who barely wanted to be. and politics is about making the hard decision to kill three people to save four, and in this case it is not even a hard decision. those who thought otherwise are, like chinese say, women

Are you willing to sacrifice 20 Million Afgans for the sake of Pakistanis. What are you Thinking man Are you taking about Genocide of Afgans??
This is Typical Chinese imperialist mentality. Sacrifice any number of commoners to save few imperial bunch or aristocrats . I am not surprised to hear these kind of words from a chinese guy. Because this is what your history taught from the begining. In the medevial China it was the emperor who sucked the blood of commoners by building useless walls and other monuments, Now a days the CCP has taken its place by organizing factories in jails to suck the blood of Chinese for the sake of economic growth.

If we want to talk about who is sheilding criminals. Tibetans are peaceful protestors, But the north eastern terror bloodshed has its roots in Yunnan province of China.

I knew this was coming ... When you have no answers to the questions raised in my post , why bother to reply and desperately try to change the topic ? :azn: ... Make up your mind what you want to discuss ...

Yes , and If you do not know the commander of the base was court martialed for the security lapse ... Is there a cause for security lapse too ? :azn: ... Attacks happen all over the world ...

Yes , so much for my disciplined army that they have been more successful than most advanced army NATO in controlling their areas ... Go read a little on Wiki about operation in South Waziristan , Bajaur , Swat , Der and Chitral , their success and the outcome ... How much % of Afghanistan does NATO control ? Hell ! Even Kabul is not safe ...

Hurt my ego ? Or possibly ridicule yourself , huh ? Are you even aware of the ethnic composition of the Pakistan Army ? What the **** do you mean by Pakistan Punjabi soldiers ? Every race living in our country is present in the army ! ... But you didn't know even that yet talked crap along ...

By 2007 the percentage representation in the Pakistan Army as a whole (officers and Other Ranks or soldiers) was as follows: Punjabis (including Punjabi Pathans): 51%,Pashtuns: 21%, Sindhis: 13.5%,, Kashmiris: 9.11%, Balochis: 3.2%, and Minorities: 0.72%.

You have a right to applaud your army, But what i posted are facts that happened in 10 yrs.

.
This is so stupid of America and her allies. How can you resolve Afghanistan without input from Pakistan Iran and Taliban.

on its own, pakistain is a viable state that can be cohesive and stable. and it is a large nation. on its own afghanistan will collapse due to tribal rivalry, economic recession, political corruption, lack of any true means to fend for itself in face of foreign invasion or subversion; even if it got all these issues miraculously resolved, it is just a small country.

we have to place the welfare of a greater number of people ahead of the welfare of a smaller number of people, and in politics we talk about these difficult decisions and not hesitate and waste time for both causes to be lost. we aren't leibniz's ***.

From the Chicago summit and going by Hamid Karzai statements, It is clear that NATO is going to use defensive strategy.
NATO will station special forces and Drones and other hi tech battle machines to ward of any taliban attempt to take over Afgan cities. In the mean time West and US will provide aid to train and build ANA and its intelligence agencies.

My friend Afganistan's population may be smaller but its territory is large and it has mineral and hydrocarbon wealth to be found. If Afganistan can survive another 5 years with its democratically elected govt. surely its percapita and GDP will increase and may be better than poorer nations.

Friends, please present informed or well reasoned comments --- Why is the NATO evacuating Afghanistan? After all, if this 11 year venture has been such a success, why leave??? And if the Talib are really such baddies, why does the US seek to engage them?? Why does Mr. Karzai seek to engage them??

Lets move past the silly neocon rubbish, lets acknowledge US military propaganda, even as we acknowledge the sacrifices of men and women who have done their duty as they saw that duty -- but lets keep our focus on reality - Why if the US and NATO have been successful, are they evacuating? Why are they seeking to engage the Talib?

Reality is that the 11 year war, has been a disaster for NATO- US insists that they will maintain special forces and huff and puff and blow Al-Qaida out of Afghanistan, but of course there is no Al-Qaida in Afghanistan and if the Talib are to be conflated with Al-Qaida, why does the US seek to negotiate with them?? It's like this, the Talib movement in Afghanistan is a grass roots movement, it has support and it has a legitimate claim and that claim needs to be afforded, after all, reconciliation in Afghanistan, requires compromise from all, not just the Talib.

Your previous posts in this thread are for all to see ... You were first at " Pakistan should control Durand Line " then " NATO cant control it " and now " Nobody can control it " stances ... I will not comment any further ...

I know the Afghanistan's history very well ... Are you implying that by any chance that country can be considered as stable even before Soviet invasion on the wishes of the Govt itself ? :azn:

Iajj didn't bring Tibet into this and neither should you ... Both cases aren't comparable to one another ...

.
Once they leave, afghanistan will fall back into a civil war.

Honestly, I don't think theres anything anyone can do to that can fix afghans and afghanistan

Actually , you would have done a much better job by trying to answer my questions raised in the post ... :azn:

Just shouting " what i posted are facts " wont add any credibility to your arguments and doesn't mean nothing ...

The country's messed up for the last 200 years ! Technically , it cant even be called as an country !

And you are not alone , a considerable number of people here think the same ...

True.

As long as the millions of afghan refugees get out of Pakistan and go back to afghanistan.

I could care less of what happens to afghanistan, they can keep fighting but as long as it stays in their country.

.
They are important, but only to the extent that the closure is making Pakistan back itself into a corner of its own making.

Why do not the realities on ground agree with you ? :azn:

Why so desperate to get them open then ? As one would be compelled to ask

Yeah , we must send them back now ... Enough with the extremism , drug trade and weapon smuggling !

Nothing will happen , they will keep fighting ... What do you expect of some cave men with each one trying to assert his dominance using Islam , Communism or some other ideology ?

P.S. Welcome back sir, it's been a very very long time since you last posted, & it's great to have you back.

Not only that but they "hate" us too.

Why should we let them reside and work in Pakistan when all they do is go around cursing and spreading false propaganda against Pakistan?

But then again what else do expect from a "country" that was the only country that voted against Pakistan joining the UN in 1947 and tried to invade us.

US is talking to taliban to change their master who are pushing for terror attacks. If they can bring Taliban to talking table and agree on terms of peace then pakistan will have nothing to do in Afganistan.

This is the kind of Goofy wishful thinking on your part that tells me that you don't have the foggiest idea about the ground realities of Afghanistan and you are here just to troll. Taliban move in tandem with Pakistan as they depend on Pakistan for their sustenance and supplies. Speak with someone who knows the Taliban-Pakistan relationship before you come to this forum to make a fool of yourself with your naive and wishful theories.
