2: TTP has a goal to kill as many Pakistanis as it can,for what it sees as 'collaboraters' with the Americans.

Are you saying that Afghan Taliban does not wish to rule Afghanistan or at least the Pashtun majority areas the way they did in the late 90s ? That's not a part of their plan ?

I really think it is naive to think that they will just lay down their arms after the Americans leave .

They call themselves the " Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan " for a reason. They wish to rule Afghanistan like earlier and impose their brutal version of religion and culture on its people.

Also of course, harbour international terrorists , just like the 90s .

Anybody can attack the most secure facility. But guess what the Taliban failed to take over the place. All dead and one wounded security officer.

Nice attempt.to troll my dear but no it is not ok to just attack any secure facility especially when it comes to presedential palace. You have layers of security, red zone , green zone around the facility. Taluban were not only able to attack the Presential palace but they successfully sabotaged and infiltrate the security ....there was an intelligence failure....there was a security lapse.....

Its a war,both sides have commited crimes. NATO regularly kills kids in 'mistaken identity' strikes on childeren collecting firewood in the mountains,after they lose their men in a Taliban attack.

An American soldier butchered 16 civilians including half a dozen childern before setting their dead bodies on fire and urinating on them.

British soldiers were collecting human fingers as war trophies. US snipers play 'bait kills' as a sport.

Don't talk to me about morality. Americans are Taliban with a huge military machine and world's largest propagenda machine to hide its crimes.

There are two Talibans - Afghan Taliban and Pakistan Taliban.

Afghan Taliban wants to impose Sharia on Afghanistan and Pak Taliban wants to do the same in Pakistan.

Nope...dont be a lakeer ka faqir.....Sharia is one of the thing on TTP wish list but not the top most......they have other things at the top...

You don't know anything about the history. Maybe you were drinking milk and crawling on the floor when the war ended in Afghanistan. Wikipedia wasn't there either. Educate yourself first before talking on something you simply have no clue about.

Yaara...i believe everything your saying.... but please keep in mind the kind of society which will be the result , if the Taliban wins.... It is not worth it ...

Another thing is....these actions by US military are actions of individuals and not sponsored by the state itself ... these killings done by Taliban are sponsored by the Taliban themselves ... We need a modern progressive Afghanistan were women adn men are educated , with infrastructure development jobs and not an Afghanistan were , Internet,music,movies,tv,computer is banned ... It is absolutely not right ...

Aeronaut is right you have no clue about history, check my post to sandy. Afghanistan was not peaceful country post soviet war. And it was not only taliban who brutally murdered people but those local warlords who used to not only rape girls but small kids too.....

You cant compare the actions which are sponsored and supported by an entire terrorist organization to and action which is done by individuals.. The killings done by American soldiers are obviously not supported by the Nation . Taliban even proudly accept these killings and justify them... you would never see US doing that.. Besides do you want Afghanistan to go back to a medievalistic lifestyle with no INTERNET,music,TV ,movies were women are considered inferior and no way of fighting for justice. NO education ... You cannot condemn Afganistan to such a hell hole ... I can bet 99% of people supporting the Afghan Taliban would NEVER live under them ....
