It’s the mindset, not lack of education, ISIS, AQ and even Taliban are not illiterates.

It's an 'enemy of my enemy' policy for now. ISIS/Daesh is seen as a far greater global threat than the Afghan Taliban currently. In any case, ISIS/Daesh fighters and leaders in Afghanistan did not sprout out of thin air or migrate from Iraq/Syria - they are overwhelmingly 'converts' from the Taliban.

Targeting Daesh/ISIS and allied groups in Afghanistan is in essence a targeting of the 'irreconcilable and extreme' factions of the Afghan Taliban.

You could be right, but that is wrong policy, ISIS, AQ, TTP and Afghan Taliban all have the same evil agenda. Just recently, in October 2015, the US and Afghan security forces destroyed Al Qaeda’s largest training camps in Kandahar, which is considered the heartland of Afghan Taliban, and there were reports that hundreds of Taliban and Al Qaeda terrorist died in the attacks.
