That might be the case but ANA are a two hundred and fifty thousand strong force. They might not have many modern tanks or artillery or aircrafts.

But they are a strong enough force, that any Pakistani confrontation with will forever alter Pakistan's strategic scenario.

Henceforth Pakistan will have to always watch its back, it will need to have sizable portion of its forces deployed in the west on permanent basis.

Pakistan military doctrine, which at one time envisioned to find strategic depth with in Afghanistan, wil now have to contend with possibility of being surrounded in a two front war.

We don't have to do any of that, in actual all that we really have to do is start protecting the Talibaan and to start giving them safe havens and weapons. They will annihilate the Afghan Government and the Afghan Military by themselves.

Without so much sacrifice and support from Pakistan, even the US military would have sustained much larger losses and would have wound up even more defeated then it is today, in Afghanistan.

Current Afghanistan is not only an American ally, they virtually America's baby.

Americans brought this new Afghanistan, it government, its army into being.

US and its allies will invade Pakistan seize its nuclear weapons, dismantle its army and install a puppet government in Pakistan.
