Nope...Actually, rather than providing military assistance to Afganistan, India should send some medical team to those injured due to shelling by Pakistan...A medical team serving Afagnistan people will send more powerful message than selling some military equipment..

Afganistan,never in its history, was tamed by any one. Be in US, Russia nor even Pakistan at any point of time. Rather than building trust with Afganistan people who are culturally simillar to Pakistan, Pakistan is using a tactic that may help to India more than other way around....

While I believe that the guys at helm of things in your country are not as stupid as you are. But even if they are stupid enough, NATO and US generals are not. Any weaponry provided to ANA will eventually fall into the hands of Taliban, for example they operate more than 100 Humvees in Helmand province alone. And that is leading to a lot casualties for ANA as it is much harder to stop an explosive laden armored Humvee than a pick up truck.

Now once the Taliban will have their hands on your Akash, one of the three things will happen. One they will use it to shoot down Afghan and US aerial assets which will lead to a lot of embarrassment for your country. Two, US airforce and special force's sole purpose in that week will be to locate and destroy your Akash batteries, again causing a lot embarrassment for you guys as that will make prime time news in US. Or if the myth of Pakistan being able to sway the Afghan Taliban is true, they will end up in our hands and naturally into the hands of our friends in the north, do you really want that?

There is a reason ANA is equipped by the US the way it is, without much aggressive weaponry.

If by any chance you meant moving your own AD unit into Afghanistan for this purpose then you are even more stupid than I initially thought. It is suffice to say that any such move will be welcomed by Islamabad and at-least one holiday will be announced for celebrating the glorious occasion. I am sure GHQ has at-least one General with enough sense of humor to call the event "PUJAY JAMNA"
