Afghan graffiti artist finds refuge in Mumbai

some parts worth noticing

In sharp contrast, the sprawling campus of Mumbai's famous JJ School of Fine of Arts is a welcome creative hub for the young Afghan fugitive.

Ms Suliman says she would like to stay in Mumbai. "When I see boys and girls working together as a team here I feel elated. We need that kind of freedom in Afghanistan."

If she was painting with the owners' approval, then fine, but it sounds like she was painting city property, which suggests she did not obtain prior approval.

Regardless of the content, these people are not "artists", they are vandals, and she is welcome to vandalize Mumbai public spaces.

Do Afghanistan have the law related to "Graffiti Art"??

Even if she is violating the law that comes under civilian law she is fighting for the women rights in terrorist infested country funded by external forces.
This comes under freedom struggle against religious tyrants.

If she wants to do her art in Mumbai GOI will give some wall no problem for us here.

You post shows the bias faced by women daily in their lives in Afghanistan.

But then aren't the LeT and JeM vandals too? How come Pakistan is giving refuge to such murderers? She's way better than Hafiz Saeed and his army of extremists! At least these Afghani women don't kill in the name of religion. Nuff said! :azn:

 what illogical posts

Wow, India is reversing their brain drain by poaching all the top Afghan graffiti artists :azn:

I would rather allow a Afghan to paint on Mumbai walls as it hides the stains of spitted Gutkha and Pan, rather than have an Afghan armed to teeth and killing people in Mumbai. :enjoy:

P.S. Afghan armed to teeth is essentially points to 4 years ago travellers from abroad.

The choice is not between Taliban and vandals. The issue is public vandalism, and you are welcome to it.

Vandal? And I am guessing the Taliban is in charge of the Afghan Govt that gives licenses on which properties to draw?

It doesn't matter who's in charge. Vandalizing public property is nothing to be celebrated.

Its a scary fact tat Taliban supporters like you have access to internet. Stop making up your own version of events that have nothing to do with reality.

I love it when clueless Indians like you show their desperation by calling anyone who disagrees a Taliban supporter.
