Come on people lets admit, being a girl in Afghanistan is very unfortunate.

They do go to school, they have to stay at home all days, in some part of Afghanistan and used to do, they cover they whole body, and then if any foriegn army is on your land, they see girls as easy meat.

2. yes your claim could be true too but since we all have seen those visual proofs of American soldiers sexually assaulting an Iraqi woman raping her in daylight by this group of US invader soldiers so this can not be ruled out.

3. since this Afghan girl is said to be daughter of a politician so if the incident is true you will see the follow up.

I cant say of Press TV is true or wrong in this case however a line is given in the same story which says

which is according to the norms of journalism and for verification we do call the parties involved and give their version too so as Press TV is quoting in this line.

However if it does end up being true those responsible will be prosecuted.

Could be but this can not change the fact and can not bring the dead to live above such things damage the image and create such hatred which will damage US in the long run

Just yesterday January 14th 3 females were rapped in a city of India so how will you relate this ??? the foreign army seems to be falling bellow the belt to gutter level.

Why am I not surprised reading this tragic news? Who is working for peace now and who are the criminals? Do you know now why the Asians are hating Americans? Ignoring the as of yet unestablished veracity of the report, the US military does not condone such acts, and if they did occur, were likely the result of individual soldiers actions.

These kinds of incidents can happen in any military deployed for long periods of time fighting a COIN. The real question is whether such abuse is systematic, with little apparent effort to prevent it, or largely isolated incidents.

The events so far would indicate isolated acts, though I would have liked to have seen punishment for some US soldiers tried for such crimes to be a lot more severe than it has been.

A girl was raped, and whether the report is true or not, you will find few Americans celebrating it and 'showering the perpetrators with rose petals'.

In Pakistan an extremist loony murdered the Governor of a province over a difference of opinion, and people are celebrating the murder, glorifying the terrorist, and threatening those that oppose them.

It is not hard to see which society is morally bankrupt here.
