Don't know it is Ghazni or even worse but one thing is sure. Things have stirred up. Both sides a giving different accounts of engagement but Afghan national army has started to fall back this has been confirmed by both sides.

That's another way of saying that the topi drama that was the "Afghan National Army" is tearing up at the seams and unable to defend the country and useless after 17 years of being propped up with billions of dollars ( most of which we know were used to buy properties in Dubai and even USA )

Also what happened to the indian trained Afghan Army personnel , why dont they demonstrate their afghan vedic skills instead of deserting their posts, this is india's failure too

Not at all,the ANA provincial forces tasked with holding territory are rather disorganized,corrupt and influenced by local actors,but the us trained special forces and the core elements are much better.Like in kunduz you will soon see counterattacks with reinforcements from the centre and mass us airstrikes and talibs will be forced to retreat.Same old.Repeat.India doesnt have anything to do with this really.

Even those "special forces" are useless without US air support. Taliban can overrun them and have inflicted heavy casualties on them.

Yes, the "same old story...." Stalemate must be a new euphemism for victory in Afghanistan. It's time for US to pull up stakes and leave Afghanistan and let the ANA defend it. I'm sure with all the billions in equipment and training given to its soldiers, they will hold their own.

ANA was never a fighting force to deal with such kind of threats at all. US mistook these drug lords & believed in them like Taliban from past; that could fight and achieve certain goals. NATO is only feeding ANA to the attacks to die and keeps itself at a safe distance for many reasons as well as per practice to play over others shoulder. US doesn't want an immediate resolve in Afghanistan neither planned for lasting peace which may change the whole game of having a buffer zone & utilizing grounds against rivals by feeding continuous threat in the region. NATO itself accepted the loss of investment into ANA however, it is only good to manipulate and use NDS to supervise terrorists such as ISIS, TTP, BLA/BLF etc groups to create more suicide attackers as well as fueling terrorism against Pakistan and threaten China & Russia. There are reasons as such that India interests too much in Afghanistan apparent development & promises to invest.

Any folks from the Muslim countries being trained by India is a bad news!!!! Mujib had his paramilitary forces, formed from the goons of his party, trained and armed by India!!! Although they were successful in killing ~40K ex-Mukti Bahini terrorists, they couldn't do anything to save Mujib and his family!!! He had ~3K of them in Dhaka to protect his regime, but they got paralyzed seeing only a couple of officers on a tank (without shells) from the BD army, who were basically ex-Pak Ordu members and were fluent in Urdu!!!!
