Afghan citizens Praising Pakistan & Imran Khan for the Peace in Afghanistan

Really doubt, if it will change the mentality of the people, however, job well done Pakistan, utilize this opportunity for the return of refugees

This is the time Pakistan should call for a conference to generate funding to rebuild Afghanistan, so that refugees can go back. The World needs to know that if there is a gap in funding in Afghanistan, Not only the present Refugees but more people inside Afghanistan will migrate to countries beyond just Pakistan and Iran, but will try to get to the Gulf Countries and Europe.

This kind of Funding can go to major projects like Dams and housing, so that Agriculture is stable. These are the most important factor because, if People have enough to eat and a home to call their own, they maybe willing to move back.

Finally, Pakistan should try to find a way to get the contracts for these re-construction efforts to Pakistani Companies, to generate employment in Pakistan. Similar to how Japan's economy was boosted by US funding during the Korean war for supplies and logistics, Pakistan too should use this moment to support the construction industry.

Mutually beneficial projects on the border, like the proposed Kabul river Dam (cost would be under $1 billion for the dam), which can supply a lot of water for Afghan as well as Pakistani agriculture should one such project. Funding to lay down a railway line between Quetta and Turkmenistan should be another, and the TAPI pipeline would be a third (although Pakistan should try to get the pipeline to go to Karachi harbor and not to India).

The mentality of streetmen can change within 10 seconds for a long period of time, you just need to feed them something to absorb, something of their type...
Hope is always there and i hope for the best with regards to Pak Afg relations

I hope the same bro, we always had a bad luck of having messy neighbors, a stable and prosperous country towards our west will always be good for the region provided that there is regional harmony as well, but when we look at ground reality that requires more than just one agreement.

Btw the Kabul River Dam should be named after the Japanese Doctor Dr. Tetsu Nakamura. He said that through building a water canal that has taken care of 600,000 people in Nanghahar Province, people were healthier and more likely to have sustainable peace. What better way to honor the efforts of this noble honor and convince the world that building dams to ensure stable agriculture is one of the best ways to ensure lasting peace.

This dam (on the Kabul river) is estimated to cost less than a $1 Billion dollars but can store more water then Tarbela if I’m not mistaken, as well as generate 3500-4500 MW. While the dam would be on the Pakistani side, the resovoir would be half in Afghanistan (30 km in Afghanistan and 30 km in Pakistan)

This could also help Afghan people, to get employment planting trees in their country through international financing as part of the global Trillion-tree initiative. The tree initiative along with de-mining efforts, and clearing debris from the fighting could also be support with global funding.

I hole people of Afganistan can see a light of hope and peace in the region...
Nothing is more important than this. They have seen lot of blood in past several decades ... ots time for peace and stability.

However once the Americans left there will be a civil war and it will be peace only if a true leader like Mullah Umer get the power
