Actually it was even better. the Indian Ambassador was invited to witness the signing. Therefore, by accepting the invitation and being present, the Indians have signaled that they accept/acknowledged the deal as well, in so far as accepting a deal made by the US that they witnessed. Interfering in the deal would signal they don't respect the US.

Cricket is different, Everyone cheers for their team. The tone will have to be monitoring. is it good naturedly or still the kind of animosity it had grown to become.
