Afghan 'acting' president Amrullah Saleh flees to Tajikistan with Panjshir commanders, claims Taliban - Indian investment loss

India has no forces in Afghanistan, India has nothing to gain or lose from whatever happens in Afghanistan, India shares no border with Afghanistan, yet in almost every thread here almost every one is talking about how what happened in Afghanistan is such a big loss for India, heck if you read the posts here in PDF you would think India lost more in Afghanistan than even the US!

So could fellow Pakistani members here tell me, what is it that makes you think the events in Afghanistan represents this kind of a huge blow to India?

LOL Who are you kidding loser?

india was using Afghan territory to carry out terrorist activities in Pakistan in collusion with the americans and nato. Their objective was to destabilise and destroy Pakistan. They failed. With america/nato defeated and no one there to protect them, india has been kicked out by the Taliban. Now Pakistan can send ALL it's forces to it's Eastern border to confront and smash the indians. Also, india no longer has the americans/nato to protect of facilitate them. For the first time in 20 years, Pakistan is no longer restricted in taking on india..........:azn:

This is where India started to lose a lot. Contrary to the Indian conspiracy theories about the Brits/West created Pakistan as a 'check' on India's future rise, the Brits/West had to leave the Subcontinent eventually and in a rush after WW II. However, India's early leaders, especially Nehru, were more into 'socialist' ideology then into real geo politics. Otherwise, the West had courted India a lot from the beginning and despite Pakistan's proximity to the USSR, India would be a 'strategic partner'. But Nehru and subsequent Indian leaders--all the way till BJP came to power around early 1990s--blundered and blundered. India had the 'Hindu Rate of Growth' for most of its history while Pakistan, even under Zulfi Bhutto years, was more prosperous.

India paid a huge price to be with the losers of history while Pakistan prospered economically AND militarily all the way from 1947 through the 1980s, much with the Western help. Why? Because Pakistanis were pragmatic and HAD to be pragmatic, which, on international politics, Indians were not.

BUT... India did have a crucial advantage: Political stability far better than Pakistan had. Pakistan lost TWO decades of progress: From 1989-1999 and then from about 2006/7-2015, roughly speaking.

But with the unfolding seemingly favorable geopolitical situation for Pakistan, I foresee a prosperous Pakistan ahead.

As for Modi--to me he seems better for the Indian economy then the corrupt Congress Party but then that's just my gut feeling only.
that's why I stay quiet at the insults and not get disappointed/angry

In the end something works out for Pakistan - I don't know if its geography, luck, thinking or a mix of everything but something always comes out of Pakistan, always in the game

Only thing I want from Pakistan rn to is work on political stability for generations after generations - create something that can make this happen so this boom, bust isn't as bad (although it happens especially for young nations- its was part of life- but learn from it and create something better)

cause other things for some reason always works out, we'll find ourselves in the right side of the game maybe not rn but max 2-3 decades from now, not worried but

BRING SYSTEMS THAT CAN BRING POLITICAL STABILITY FOR DECADES AFTER DECADE, GENERATIONS AFTER GENERATIONS

Let me try to answer this briefly as it is very complex. As you mentioned, India shares no border with Afghanistan so they should not be concerned or shouldn't be interested in Afghanistan but contrary to this they were involved, as there were many Anti-Pakistan Elements in Afghanistan (Northern-Alliance).

Do you think India loves Afghans, the very same Afghans who in past destroyed India and conquered India at will and created the foundation of Islam there? No, in fact, this describes this phrase "An Enemy of Enemy is a friend. There are many factors, but in simple terms, India was using Afghans and Afghanistan against Pakistan. Now all their proxies are out they won't be able to do much.

Given the state Pakistan is in, their bets really worked out🤣
well, we fought a war of two decades with 45 nations and the world biggest war machine and intelligence agencies and still stand tall. I am sure if india would have been in place of Pakistan right now the American governor-general would have been ruling india instead of modi and co.

India bet on Soviets and lost while Pakistan bet on the US and won

India bet on Northern Alliance and lost while Pakistan bet on Taliban and won

India bet on Iran/Chabahar and lost while Pakistan bet on China/BRI/CPEC and won

Indian bet on US/ANA and lost while Pakistan bet on China/Taliban and won

India always bet on the wrong horse and they lose while Pakistan always wins.

india should bet on cows only....
I'm scratching my head here, we aren't using drones in Baluchistan because of the terrain excuse by our military officers but Pak Army is using drones in Panjshir. ooohhh k.

where does this clown get his information?.....
