Aero India 2017: Bahrain Wants Tejas Back Again For Bahrain Airshow 2018.

Tejas

I apologise if it becomes fake news to you but I will believe serving personnel in the squadrons over there as I have worked there before. So please next time...behave.
I also believe in Air Force personnels thats why I'm sharing a few sorties experiences by Air force pilots/personnels

1. Flight experience by group captain Madhav
http://m.ndtv.com/india-news/flying-tejas-felt-like-being-on-top-of-the-world-1426973

2. Former IAF chief Arup Raha
http://m.indiatoday.in/story/air-ch...ru-10-quick-facts-about-the-jet/1/670289.html

3. Turkmenistan Air Force chief flew LCA and shows interest towards LCA Procurement.
https://defence360officials.blogspot.in/2016/11/turkmenistans-air-chief-flight-tested.html?m=1

4. Full Video about the flight experience by an individual

5. Group captain Suneet Krishna's experience about LCA
http://m.timesofindia.com/city/beng...ine-Tejas-test-pilot/articleshow/18375777.cms

There are many others who praise LCA's flight experience.
Personally I met with the pilot at AERO INDIA 17. He said that the main feature which attracts is the simplest handling which is most useful for any fighter jet.

I'm purely discussing on the basis of actual facts. There are very few foreign pilots who has experience on tejas. Why don't you open the name of your pilots. I'll confirm your post's genuineness.

So, I request you...... Behave

I got nothing to confirm for you on that. Will not post their names due to security reasons. Plus those links have nothing to do with RBAF's procurement for the Tejas aircraft and merely from the experience of the test pilots and the pilots who tried the aircraft.

Cheers !!!

.
HAL placed two trainer variants at AERO INDIA 17 and many foreign and Indian pilots took flight on it and for your kind information, they all give thumbs up.
And one more thing you need to know that Hawk and LCA belongs to different categories.

Bahrain ordered Hawk 129 which is not a LIFT Aircraft.

Only hawk 120 and 127 are termed as LIFT which is only used by Australia.

Don't post fake news.

No, FC-1 made its debut on Export .
None of the PAC produced THUNDER will go on export.

Jf-17 aka FC-1 is designed by China and produced by both CAC and PAC. This is what we already did for various Aircraft including Mig-21 , Su-30MKI, Jaguar etc
INDIA didn't like to change the name of jets just for license Production but China did it for various timEe like for Mig-21 they rename it as F-7.

Note: China is marketing this co-developed jet as FC-1 not as JF-17

Why don't you share the content percentage directly.
Based on "content %age by value" and "content %age by number".
Thats it.

No other thing was asked.

Don't compare India tried to design Kaveri because your country is nowhere close to India in Engine development.

GTRE already developed Manik Turbofan, HTFE-25 in very recent time.
wrong the plan was designed by both pakistan and china, infact mostly the input came from Pakistan has it was designed for Pakistan, CAC can be seen as a contractor but it did carried the risk by contributing 50% to developmental costs

i dont know, its not been disclosed, i have told you information that has been released, we dont even know the final value of plan, being modular design their is no single value of the airplane, its all dependent upon the buyer, same as mig 29
FC is international designation and JF-17 pakistani designation, there is no difference between them, the current Myanmar "FC-1" pakistani share (59% air frame) were manufactured in Pakistan, pictures were released from Kamra

There are very few foreign person who gets airborne on LCA before AI'17 and even after AI'17 THE count is in 2 digits.
You have nothing behind your security shield. I got my answer with your silence.
Why don't you post something which relates to RBAF procurement.
As I said before, RBAF shows their interest in LCA LIFT variant.
We'll respect their decision, it may be yes or no. Doesn't matter.

Maybe in your dreams.
For truth , consult with some concerned peoples. Don't believe on fantasy stories. Me too read many fake stories on web that Pak won many wars but reality is exactly opposite.

Bro there are many items used on a fighter jet and you are still stick with the steel structure.
I asked a straight question and you're rolling here and there.
Why don't you answer precisely.
Content %age by value = ?
Content %age by number= ?

Riveting some steel pieces is not called as designing and manufacturing an aircraft. And also known as Indigenisation.

FC is international designation and JF-17 pakistani designation, there is no difference between them,
It's sounds like china licence built Mig-21 which renamed as F-7 just to vanish out the russian name. Similar case is of j-11 and j-15.
Here , as per your claim , jf-17 also a renamed licence variant of FC-1.
CHEERS you proved that PAC has no co developed jet.
Do you know, Mushshak is also a official license built version of Saab Safari.

I no longer work for RBAF so I cannot say. My previous response is still the same. Whether there is a change in development and if I hear to about it then I will personally message you myself. Until then enjoy the speculation. And I will always take the word of a test pilot over a news reporter(we were at the same university in Canada, he did journalism...I did aerospace engineering) in the link you sent me.

Cheers and take care !!!

Export for the tejas is going to be very difficult, for multple reasons.

1. The tejas contains tech and parts from multiple sources, indian, European, US and israeli. This very fact will restrict the number of potential countries who will consider the tejas (ie iran etc.)

2. The unit flyaway price for the IAF is ($25m for the Mk1 and $45m for the Mk1A) and for export customers will be much higher ($40m+ for the Mk1 and $60m+ for the Mk1A).

3. HAL has a very limited experience in marketing internationally and not so good record in support.

4. By the time the tejas is mature it will have to compete with various options from China (J10b, J10c, J31), Russia (mig 35), Sweden (JAS 39), South Korea (F50, KFX/IFX), even Turkey (TFX)....
1. I agree, but this leaves countries like Vietnam-Turkmenistan, any nation with good Indo and American relations.
2. Isn't so bad as it uses R-73s and same shelters built for Mig21s. Its the time line of delivery thats difficulte to foresee with the current lines.
3. Absolutely agree, but wouldn't use that against them as HAL is state owned, and any deal will have to be Govt pushed giving greater emphasis on product support etc...
4. agreed exactly why countries who are in similar situations will want tejas than anything else. Its American engine but fires off Israeli or Russian missiles. If you don't want Chinese and the Russians don't want your chickens, the Americans are expensive this Tejas is a good choice. But J-10 and J-7cough JF-17 have engine issues...ie single engines that are not really reliable hence why the Chinese aren't making J-10s carrier borne or JF-17. This will be problem for countries looking for reliable interceptors.

That is why I posted test pilots, guest pilot and journalist view point along with sources.

It your choice to believe on it or not.

Good Day

when is India sending its man to Jupiter, I heard its next year

of serious note mushak OEM is Pakistan so technically its not license built i.e SAAB cannot claim anything about it
original mushak was designed by SAAB, an export failure in military market with no export from Pakistan, this was followed by new redesign aircraft called super mushak that became a export success over last 2 decades

I have something interesting for you and also from your loving sources
The PAC MFI-17 Mushshak is a license-built fixed-gear basic trainer aircraft, an improved version of the Saab Safari, used by the Pakistan Army and Pakistan Air Force. It is manufactured in Kamra, Pakistan by Pakistan Aeronautical Complex.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/PAC_MFI-17_Mushshak

The Super Mushshak is an upgraded PAC-built derivative of the Saab MFI-17 Supporter. When the MFI-17’s original manufacturer Malmö Flygindustri ceased production of the aircraft in 1982, PAC undertook the role of manufacturing the platform under the designation Mushshak (Proficient) in 1983.

I think this information is quite fine to break out the rust from your head.

So , if you don't mind , we should stick with the thread
