i simply say please prove it in ICJ, and teach India a Lesson, show India is supporting terrorism in pakistan. you have a great opportunity to shame India in world stage.

ICJ will rule whether the Vienna applies to the man, YJ.

YJ has some time to appeal the sentence in Pakistan by a Pakistani Military Court.

India, may/ may not get consular access to YJ.

And Pakistan will either end up hanging YJ or commuting it to a life sentence.

The Stay Order means nothing, it's not like YJ was going to be hanged May 13th or May 15.

What was the final judgement,,?

I knew' LT Rizwaan Maqsood who was on board that ill fated flight and I kept a close eye on the case.
Pakistan spent $400,000+ on the case at ICJ and the case was only reffered to the ICJ after NS was removed from power (Gen. M took the case to ICJ).
The final rulings by the ICJ said that ICJ has no jurisdictions over Indo-Pak disputes and dismissed the case.

It's funny how in 17/18 years ICJ has gained jurisdiction over Indo-Pak disputes.

Well as far as ICJ rulings are concerned. ICJ is nothing but a normal entity whose verdicts are rarely followed. For example the recent case of South China Sea. China threw the verdict given by ICJ out of window and no implications happened to it. And in 80's when USA shot down Iranian civilian jet. ICJ verdict was not even recognized by USA. Similar thing will happen to ICJ verdict by Pakistan. So I am not sure what the fuss is all about.

But as a student of strategy and regional politics, one thing is clear from all of the above. India who wanted to bully Pakistan via its strong military and threats of attacks has came down to political solution rather than military. Last year Mr. Modi and Company were threatening Pakistan of war and creating an hysteria. now they have awaken into reality that is not the option. so they are rather adopting political solutions instead. which is itself a great victory for Pakistan.

Also as I mentioned earlier India has only three options to in case Cmdr. Jadav : -
1) To perform military action to save the spy. But any action will be dealt with massive retaliation from Pakistan. And can result in full fledge war. (That is also the main reason india is unable to take down Hafiz Saeed Sahab who live just few KM from indian boder in city of Lahore).
2) Offer Pakistan specially Pakistani Military something which it cannot refuse. It might be intelligence sharing regarding the funding of Indian Sponsored Extremist elements such as BLA and TTP Jamat al Ahrar. But in current situation of hysteria and hype given by media such offer will also be denied by Pakistan military . But this can be solution after 10-15 years when the matter has cooled down.
3) Forget about your agent and go on with your lives.

There could have been back door diplomacy few months back on this issue. But India has crossed our red line when it kidnapped our col sahab from Nepal. And verdict from Military court next day sending clear and crystal message to Indian Military Establishment.
