First of all Indians IF you actually read my post, I said STRONG time more than YEARS. Meaning no INDIGENOUS INDIAN empire has been a SUPERPOWER for more than 30 years.

superpower can be classified as militarily or economically....if ur talking militarily...i kinda agree with u...if ur talking economically...go wash ur face...

very few Chinese ,Japanese,Koreans know English,but it doesnt stop us from acquiring science and technology.in Africa,most people speak English and it doesnt make them develop better than East Asia.

I wanted to mean during higher studies, one has greater option of choosing from work of different British or American publishers.

There were no superpowers until maybe the British empire.

The Persian empire had NO influence in South America. No empire in Asia had any influence in the Americans.

It doesn t matter if you don't have influence in unchartered lands It just matters if you have huge influence and dominance in the known lands that time

now...there are 1600 dialects n not languages...india got them through years of trade invaders etc etc...mughals dint destroy sanskrit...instead promoted more of urdu which was more recently developed

say you are right so those evil invaders & friendly traders bought those 1600 languages/dialects etc? if mughals didnt destroy sanskrit did it die its own natural death if yes why havent other lanaguages/dialects have died ? come one sanskrit was the main lanague of old india wasnt it?

Jizya is only for protection so if someone invades you guys the Musims will protect non-Muslims, basically like tax. Don't BS, there was no full Sharia law in Mughal eras it was basically like Saudi Arabia right now. No one kidnapped or raped anyone

well exact cause even i dunno...maybe it was too difficult to learn sanskrit (at least i found it very difficult)...and there was a better option like hindi or something

i really dunno the exact thing

but even to this day there are some small small clusters all over india (except the 7 sister states in northeast) which speak only sanskrit...

The Manchus were keenly aware of their minority status and during the early eras of their reign, they implemented a strict policy of racial segregation between the Manchus and Han Chinese. This ethnic segregation had cultural and economic reasons: intermarriage was forbidden to keep up the Manchurian heritage and minimize sinicization. Han Chinese and Mongols were banned from settling in Manchuria. The Qing Dynasty started colonizing Manchuria with Han Chinese later on in the dynasty's rule, but the Manchu area was still separated from modern-day Inner Mongolia by the Outer Willow Palisade, which kept the Manchu and the Mongols in the area separate.
The policy of segregation applied directly to the banner garrisons, most of which occupied a separate walled zone within the cities in which they were stationed.
