If AMCA could come out that fast as you said then LCA will be thrown into tradh bin in no time.

AMCA will be a cheap option to bring down some junks flying up in north

AMCA will be much cheaper for us to build cause we are working on its design phase for almost a decade now and deu to LCA project we learened quite a few lessons on how to get maximum results by still bieng quite Furgal as per world standards + the latest tech we will be getting after the rafale & FGFA deal + the ground work done by the MKI's it wont be such a big issue for us as owr friends like Israel & french are all too eager to give in best infra for the same and now after russians getting a bid uneasy deu to indian involvement with french , israeli & amerikans for the latest weponry i guess this time around they know what they might loose so they will have to play as per rules aswell hope u get the picture SIR

India will finalize the AMCA induction around year 2030, that's the best result expected pertaining to DRDO's project management ability on the table.

Indians haven't yet produced Mirage equivalent( or less) LCA in 30 years and they are talking about AMCA...Grow up...it would take them another decade to complete LCA...

Take J31 for example, we build the prototype first before we exhibit the model of it on Zhuhai airshow. DRDO is just the other way around, which shows you something without grasp in hand let Indian fellows wait for another decades and finding any possible excuse elaborating the delay.
This kind of stuff is really laughable.

it's not seater but engine issue
