I know Indians can repair bikes, the question is can Indian repair a faulty aircraft carrier's populsion? and better than the Russians? Since you can build your own ships "completely self sufficient" then that should not be a problem. "complete" should mean to include the engines, otherwise it will not be "complete". Why turn to Russian or USA for engines problems, when Indians are able to fix things yourself. But in reality if Indians can't fix problems themselves or can't build things completely themselves, then you should let your fellow countrymen know that - there are still areas needing improvements - be humble.

Sorry to say this: the way Mig-29k land is too fast compare to Su-33, I afraid that your pilot will piss in the pants in landing, the aircraft is already your pilot's enemy: see how bad it land with no weaeon load..you can imagine when the aircraft with max. load...alot will drop into sea if they missed the cable.

That Pilot is warrior. What he has done and can do is still a wet dream of China. Last time I heard your people were still towing that casino and were practising Cabaret on it. He can rape your whole naval fleet with rest of his ready to go buddies from the same ACC in one day. He did touch down without landing and then landed even without blinking an eye. The landing was perfect he than continued to taxi on the deck for parking.

Su-33 minimum landing speed is 240Km/Hr, Mig 29K is 250 Km/Hr. A difference of 10km/hr is hardly anything, besides why do you think they practise the touch and go? Thats in case if they miss all three arrestor hooks.

"Seem" is a very vague and perceptive word. But lets say even if your observation was correct, its important to note that Mig 29K is very new plane, and so is Vikramaditya. It takes time to practice and perfect the "carrier flying skills". Thats why you have such extensive trials. Once they have all the performance parameters for both the plane and carrier they ll make training guidelines, using which the pilots will hone their carrier flying skills(by regular training and exercise).

Some of them like Martian can also calculate the RCS of aircrafts with their bare eyes .....
