You should read the eastern political history to know that Bangali Muslims are permanent Residents of Assam for the last eight centuries. In comparison, Assam has become a part of India or part of Presidency of Bengal only after 1870. So, these muslims have all the rights to their homeland, and India has no suzerainty over Assam.

Trust me bro , none , and I repeat , none of the Indians here had any idea of the kind of animosity BD people have against India before joining PDF . I suppose in real life , relations are good - only a few false flaggers, trolls , third generation BD members living abroad still try to cause a ruckus and sour relations on the forum. YOu are damn right. I know little bit about Karimganj as it was part of Sylhet and were taken out of the referendum with an excuse that then DC (a Hindu) thought it was Hindu majority, so should be part of India automatically. It was discredited by Sylhet Muslims and eventually after 60 years we know now the real facts.
Other than that I knew that Assam is a backward poor mostly inhabitated by Hindus and Tribes and most of the Hindu Bengalis are already kicked out or slaughtered. Even after Nelie massacre when GOB protested and there were lots of talks in the print media I was wondering why the hell do we care? Bengalis are the biggest ethnic group in Assam which is 45%, Assamese are minority. So taking $hit from minority assamese tribes are just nonsense and the Bengalis there should opt for more independence from India and draw a permanent line and split Assam in two separate states.

First there is no migration from Bangladesh in Assam except Hindus. Few bams here and there should not be considered as migration which every country faces including Bangladesh.
Regarding ther bold part, when we do care less but that just proves your insecurity. We know how, for the last 60 years your government tried to subdue Bengali nationalism and barred every media from Bangladesh and always projected Bangladesh as a backward rubbish country filled with Hindu killers. We know these, and we are not stupid.
