KABUL (Pajhwok): While calling for sanctions against Pakistan, the Meshrano Jirga on Sunday asked the United Nations (UN) to add the country to the list of terrorist sates.

Senator Maulvi Mohiuddin Munsif said: “The killing of Taliban leader Mullah Mansour and a funeral ceremony for him held in Pakistan show it is the main cause of problems inAfghanistan. It is questionable why the UN doesn’t impose sanctions on Pakistan.”

He said the neighbor country must be added to the list of terrorist countries as its real face exposed to all people in the world.

At a meeting on Saturday, Council of Protection and Stability of Afghanistan head Abdur Rab Rassoul Sayyaf said Pakistan should stop interfering in Afghanistan.

“I want to tell Pakistan you are now exposed to the entire world. If you don’t stop sponsoring the scourge, you would be added to the list of terrorist sates,” Sayyaf had said.

Another senator, Mohammad Hassan Hotak, supported Sayyaf’s statement and said: “Pakistan is the main cause of death and destruction in Afghanistan. The country should be added to the list of terrorists.”

Gulalai Akbari, another member, also asked the administrative board of the upper house to order the government to cooperate with strategic allies of Afghanistan and add Pakistan to the UN’s blacklist.

A number of other senators stressed on peace and stability in Afghanistan and agreed with other colleagues in adding Pakistan to black list.

Farhad Sakhi, the first deputy chairman who chaired the session, also supported Sayyaf’s views. He called peace the only and just demand of all Afghans.

He asked the international community to be honest in cooperating with Afghanistan on the issue of restoring stability.

Just so everyone knows, this Abdur Sayyaf accusing Pakistan of being a terrorist state was an ex-Jihadi with close links to Al Qaeda during the '90s when his kind roamed Afghanistan murdering civilians in a bid to gain power. Sayyaf even has the distinction of having a terrorist group in the Philippines named in his honor.

Afghans r warrior as Americans r and like wars.. They want to win war against Pakistan by sabotage. India has full support for them and Obama knows that well

Remember , Afghan govt control few miles radius of Kabul surrounding . Beyond Kabul city limits different factions control rest of the country , and they are not in control of any Agency. In other words , Ghani is mayor of Kabul. Afghan factions are heavily funded by Afghan drug lords and locals are familiar with their name. Some time, these groups work for Indian or Afghan agencies to carry terrorist activities inside Pakistan . Like , US general said, we can buy Afghan factions loyalty over night .
As far as adding Pakistan name in terrorist countries list, that mantra came from other side of border. Its another pressure tactic to side line Pakistan.
Afghanistan was never one and will not be one nation. They can be good warrior , but outsiders know well how to manipulate and use them in their own interest.

(P.S ..forum is driving me nuts...lol..what's going on)
