মাহিযুক্তরাজ্যে যৌথ প্রযোজনার সিনেমা ‘তুই শুধু আমার’-এর শুটিং করতে গিয়ে ভারতীয় কয়েকজন সহকর্মীর আচরণে ক্ষুব্ধ হয়েছেন বাংলাদেশের জনপ্রিয় নায়িকা মাহি। ফেসবুকে দেওয়া এক পোস্টের মাধ্যমে মাহি তাঁর এই ক্ষোভের কথা জানান। শুধু তাই নয়, তাঁদের আচরণে মাহি এতটাই কষ্ট পেয়েছেন যে, দেশের কাছে ক্ষমাও চেয়েছেন।

আট ঘণ্টা আগে ফেসবুকে দেওয়া এক পোস্টে মাহি লেখেন, ‘পারলে আমাকে ক্ষমা করে দিও, মা (বাংলাদেশ)। আমি এমন কিছু ভারতীয় (সবাই না, শুধুমাত্র গুটি কয়েক) দের সঙ্গে কাজ করছি, যারা কথায় কথায় তোমাকে ছোট করার হিম্মত দেখায়। কিন্তু বিশ্বাস করো, আমি এবং আমার মতো আরও কয়েকজন থাকতে তোমাকে ছোট করার ক্ষমতা কারও হবে না। কোনো দিন না। তুমি (বাংলাদেশ) আর “মা” থাকবে মাথার ওপরে। কারণ তোমরা দুজনেই আমার “মা”।’

৩ জুন ‘তুই শুধু আমার’ সিনেমার শুটিং করতে যুক্তরাজ্যে যান মাহি। এই ছবিতে মাহির বিপরীতে অভিনয় করছেন টালিউডের সোহম ও ওম। এটি যৌথভাবে পরিচালনা করছেন কলকাতার জয়দীপ মুখার্জি ও বাংলাদেশের অনন্য মামুন।

Popular actress Mahiya Mahi was left enraged over the degrading behaviour of her Indian co-workers. The Bhalobashar Rong famed actor, who is currently in the United Kingdom for the shooting of a joint venture film, Tui Shudhu Amar, posted a status on her Facebook profile in this regard.

“Forgive me if you can, mother (Bangladesh). I am working with such Indians (not all but a portion of them), who show the courage to belittle you every now and then. But trust me, they won’t be able to belittle you as long as I and people like me are still alive. Never. You (Bangladesh) and my mother will stay above everything. Because both of you are my mother,” wrote an exasperated Mahi on Friday.

Mahi flew to the UK with the team of Tui Sudhu Amar back in June 3 and has completed more than 70% of the shooting in London. The team is expected to return on June 22, according to Soham, who is playing the lead character opposite Mahi along with another Indian actor, Om. Despite being jointly produced by Joydeep Mukharjee from Kolkata and Ananya Mamun from Bangladesh, the majority of the cast members of Tui Shudhu Amar are from India.

Many people from BD, and other countries have also suffered same type of incidence. Even the North east indian people.Those people are commonly said by other indian by the slang word like ''chinky''. Things are that extreme that Indian govt. have had to enact law to prevent the use of that word! Insulting other national is a part of Indian cultute. One type or another.
