What's new

Across Nepal, Hindi channels will be closed tomorrow

You helped them, but you do not own them, my friend. They are an independent country, and their constitution is their internal affair. So don't teat them like your "Protectorates", just like one of your countryman think of them.

They are, by all means and senses.

I think this is where India and China differ in big way.

Nothing in geopolitics is for free, only hard power like military, economy and diplomacy works. We heavily subsidize them with our money and if they cannot address our concerns they will not get shit from us.

pickup the fight with someone your size, man! Don't be a bully. :close_tema:

Thank you Kushal for replying. Ask them if they belong to Sikkim, India or Darjeeling, India or the country Nepal?
If they have Indian passport then they are not Nepalese nationality.

They are Nepalese, Buras, they have government Jobs in India and often visit Nepal.

Nepalese often claim sikkim and darjeeling and relations between India and Nepal haven't always been rosy. Perhaps the enemy of my enemy is my friend here applies for Pakistan.

Please ask them Karan where they belong in Nepal. And Nepalese nationals dont get Indian passports. Its Nepali speakers of India who gets Indian passport. They speak Nepali but they are proud Indian. Under sugauli treaty Nepal lost its considerable land along with its population.

You are correct. Unlike India in Nepal, China fully own and dominates the dictatorship in Best Korea.

Right, but China never tells NK what to do with their own constitution, and any other their domestic issues for that matter.

Indian local businessmen at border along with Nepali local businessman chased away protestors from the customs.
Thank you businessman at Indian border.

nk this is where India and China differ in big way.

India and China differ in many big ways in case of Nepal..Nepalese enjoy almost all the rights of any Indian citizen, the borders are open, they can and do come to India without passport & visa, they can work in any organization here without any restriction, they can get Indian government jobs even in high ranks, they can do business here, they even vote in elections once they are settled here, probably there are more Nepalese in India than in Nepal...and Indian government provides subsidies and funds to Nepal just like any of our states...they are just like Indians with a separate government. The two countries are so much indistinguishable from each other that we have little option but to be concerned about the decisions they make.

You have to know difference between indians of Nepali origin and Nepalese.
Nepalese nationality cannot vote. Only Nepalese of sikkim , darjeeling can. These lands Nepal lost to British along with its people.
And yes Indian governmnet gives alot of facilities to them but not voting rights, high level jobs.
India and Nepal are like room mates and China is just a neighbour. We are so much alike in so many matter. But India's diplomacy seriously failed this time, mate. Its okay to be concerned but asking Nepal to make ammendments isnt appreciated, you have to try understand us.

BTW Indian businessman at the sunauli border along with Nepalese businessman chased away protestors. Thank you.

Nepalese can get high level government jobs...and for all practical purposes those Nepalese (from Nepal) who settle in India do manage to get voter id cards and vote in elections, and they get PAN cards for income tax returns, once they have all these; getting an Indian passport becomes cakewalk. It is easy for a Nepalese to become Indian.

@Viva There was a Nepalese member here, all anti-India with evil India vs proud Nepalese rants...later during a conversation he disclosed that his own elder brother is working and settled in India, with all the documents of an Indian citizen, and he himself is planning to settle in India. I will try to search for that id.

They have been living in India for many year but they have their relatives in Nepal. They got their passport in 2008

And then there is a family of chaukidar who live near my house. They send money back to Nepal

Why are you interfering in Malaysia's domestic issues?
Wisma Putra summons Chinese ambassador over Petaling Street remarks - The Malaysian Insider

Citing unnamed Wisma Putra officials, The Star Online reported that Wisma Putra would seek an explanation from the Chinese ambassador on his remarks which were seen to be interfering in Malaysia's domestic affairs.

Dr Huang was reported by The Star as saying yesterday that the Chinese government was opposed to terrorism, extremism and any forms of discrimination based on race.

"The Chinese government opposes terrorism and any form of discrimination against races and any form of extremism," he was quoted as saying.

Beijing, he said, would not think twice about voicing out against any threats to the interests of its citizens or anything that disrupts the relationship between Malaysia and China.

Tourist hot spot Petaling Street, also known as Chinatown, was the scene of chaos on September 16 when police had to use water cannons to disperse a crowd of “red shirt” protesters who wanted to force their way into the area.

So how do you plan to go about it, are you planning to convert them first and then make friends or will you make friends first and then convert them?
