Used 16's have always been on the table. The PAF wants low flying miles so that's a bit hard to find. Plus Pakistan wants 18 more -16's new (block 60 type) and there are discussions of interest in EFT, FC-10C and J-11D. We'll see who wins.

KSA afford the expensive EFT
one EF = 125.000.000 USD
per hour of flight operating cost 18 000 USD

new twist in BAE and KSA EFT deal for further 48 EF Typhones.

I think we all know that KSA has made a big mistake by not making deal back in 2005-2007 for:
100 EF-2000s (returning back Tornadoes)
100 Rafaels
100 F-15SA

All this would have replaced:
F-5
Tornadoes
F-15C/D
till 2015-2017
