Pakistan Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman met Jordan King Shah Abdullah and disccussed over matters of bilateral defence relations. He said that Jordan wanted to further extend cooperation with Pakistan.

I wish that we can look beyond F16's but cant see that happening anytime soon! One thing is clear The armed forces are doing a better job of handling the foreign office then the uselessly incompetent civilians

Eruofighter is a multinational product & manufactured by a consortium of three companies; Alenia Aermacchi, Airbus Group and BAE belongs to different countries with share of 33 % for the United Kingdom and the Federal German Republic, 21 % for Italy and 13 % for Spain. Furthermore The permission of European Union could be conditional for obeying European Union laws for Human rights, Child labour, Women rights, and Ban On Death sentence.

I think people are getting over their heads. Jordan has always maintained close relationships with PAF and those are not necessarily a product of procurement from Jordanians. So this visit would more likely be a formal visit, not related to F-16 procurement. Jordan has already given Pakistan their asset while engaged against ISIS. But more brand new F-16s (albeit in small number) are in pipeline.
