How is South Asia ruled by Buddhists?

Buddhist countries are only Sri Lanka and Bhutan in South Asia.

Most of the Buddhist regions converted to Islam, like Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Hindu majority nations like Bangladesh, Maldives, Indonesia, Malaysia converted to Islam.

Hindus and Buddhists has been engaged in civil war throughout South Asia before Islam entered Pakistan.

Saudi Arabia has a much larger Defence budget than India does.

Pakistan has more nuclear weapons than India does.
(i) We've seen how the mighty Saudi Army has been performing in Yemen. If it hadn't been instructors from PA and Westerns nations, it would have been much worse.
(ii) Pakistan needs more nukes because India is much larger country than Pakistan. We don't need 1000000 nukes for Pakistan. What we have with us is more than enough for Pakistan. Even if 1 nuclear weapon is used we can both say goodbye to both countries. Thankfully leaders in Pakistan are much more sensible then avg Pakistani member on this forum who if possible would use nuclear weapon like regular 556 rounds.

I never mentioned to rule over Pakistan or for that matter any Muslim nation. We are happy with what we've got.
No need to make an *** of yourself.

Nobody converts to Hinduism. lol.

I am glad you found your way. Hinduism incorporates many streams of thought about the divine. It has no single founder and many scriptures. Hindu thought has seeped into many religions. New age movement in the west incorporates many hindu ideas.

Marathas were arsonists who burned cities, attacked trade routes, and abducted civilians for ransom. They were anarchists, and not rulers.
Truth is that they were not even half as bad as Turkish and mughal invaders
They never engaged in gory slaughter of the civilian population nor they destroyed places of worship
They destroyed tyrant mughals in the 27 year mughal maratha war against Aurangzeb, the most rich empire in the world (which after the war was bankrupted and the royal treasury was non existent)

Mughal dynasties' main problems came from the British, Portugese, and Dutch. It began with the invasion of Nader Shah (a military leader who took over in a coup in Iran,) this is what really finished Mughal power. He sacked all the major cities of the Mughals leading to a power vacuum which was exploited by Europeans and their agents who they armed with European modern weaponry like Ranjit Singh, Marathas, and the Nizam (at that time fighting Tipu Sultan.)
The problems began after it was bankrupted in the war in deccan

That explains why there were no Hindus left after 1000 years of Muslim rule. /s

Your very existence is the proof that Dilli Sultanat and Mughals were tolerant and benevolent rulers.

You still fail. lol.
Come on man!
Saudi arabia is completely under the influence of USA ,they may have a larger budget but i don't think they have waht it takes to be dominant
And about pakistan having more nukes doesn't really makes a nation more dominant and strong AND less susceptible to a collapse or defeat

Farmaan by Nizam VII proved he donated generously to Hindu educational institutions
He patronized learning institutions by giving huge funding for Hindu Educational Institutions besides financing several socio-charitable institutions.

HYDERABAD: By making baseless and false allegations against VII Nizam Nawab Mir Osman Ali Khan Bahadur and other Asif Jahi rulers, most of the communal elements try to mislead young generation.

It must be noted that Asif Jahi rulers especially the Seventh Nizam, Mir Osman Ali Khan Bahadur took very good care of their Hindu subjects. Asaf Jah VII was secular to the core and regarded Hindus, and Muslims as his two eyes.

Though a strict follower of Islam, Nizam VII of independent Hyderabad displayed exemplary tolerance towards other faiths.

Despite opposition, he appointed Hindus on major posts and was generous in donations to temples.

He patronized learning institutions by giving huge funding for Hindu Educational Institutions besides financing several socio-charitable institutions.

The following are the two royal edicts or Farmaan by Mir Osman Ali Khan, dated 22 years apart, of money grants to the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and the Benares Hindu University.

On the request of Nobel Laureate CV Raman, Mir Osman Ai Khan donated Rs 1 lakh for Indian Institute of Sciences (IISc), Bangalore. Similarly, on the request of Madan Mohan Malaviya, he sanctioned a grant of Rs. 10 lakh for Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in Varanasi.

Sir Syed Ahmed Khan too requested fund for Aligarh Muslim University for which he granted Rs. 5 lakh. When Sir Syed Ahmed Khan asked the reason behind this discrimination (granting Rs. 10 lakh for Hindu University and Rs. 5 lakh for Muslim University), he clarified that Hindu population is much more than Muslim population.

These little-known details by the erstwhile Nizam’s regime were an eye opener for the communal elements who spew venom against the Muslim rulers by distorting history.

Another illegal invasion of a Muslim majority area by tyrannical Hindu occupiers.

Add it to the list.

Hyderabad, Lakshadweep, Kashmir, Jammu, Northeast Punjab, Ferozepur, West Gujurat, Muslim areas of Assam and Bihar.

You forgot Bangladesh :-)

RTI queries bust myth of 5,000 kg gift for national defence

A series of Right To Information applications have busted an urban legend that Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan of Hyderabad donated 5,000 kg of gold to the National Defence Fund in the aftermath of the 1965 war with Pakistan.

The Prime Minister’s Office, under which the National Defence Fund functions, responded to this reporter’s RTI query that it has no information of any such donation.

According to popular lore, Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan is said to have given 5,000 kg of gold to Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri during his visit to Hyderabad in 1965. The Prime Minister was touring the country to raise funds to steady the post-war economy. The story goes that after donating the gold, the Nizam asked only that the boxes containing the precious metal be returned.

In fact, the Nizam invested 4.25 lakh grams (425 kg) of gold in the National Defence Gold Scheme, floated in October 1965 with a generous 6.5% interest, to tide over the economic crisis.

The Hindu report
A report in The Hindu of December 11, 1965, from Hyderabad, corroborates the less glamorous version of the Nizam and his gold. As The Hindu reports:

The Prime Minister, Mr. Lal Bahadur Shastri and the Nizam of Hyderabad exchanged a few words to-day at the airport when the ageing ex-ruler came to greet India's Prime Minister...

Addressing a public meeting later in the evening, Mr. Shastri congratulated the Nizam on his investing 4.25 lakhs grams of gold in gold bonds which was valued at about Rs. 50 lakhs. The investment contained old gold mohors (coins) whose value was more depending on their antiquity. “We do not want to melt these gold mohors but send them to foreign countries to obtain a higher value. We may get a crore of rupees,” he said.

The report also mentions a donation of 1.25 lakh grams of gold from the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams and a purse of ₹8 lakh in cash from Telegu film stars to the government.

The October 1965 National Defence Gold Bonds had the additional benefit of being an amnesty scheme. “The provisions of the gold control or customs regulations will not apply with respect to gold in any form tendered as a subscription to the gold bonds and no proceedings will be instituted... Further, where such gold has been acquired out of income which has not been disclosed under the Income-Tax Act ... such income, or the wealth represented by the corresponding assets, will not be liable to tax under these enactments in assessments,” said the press note from the government.

Secret beneficiary?
While the Nizam's investment was a smart move, mystery shrouds the beneficiary of the investment. The RBI rejected an RTI query on the investment as well as the final beneficiary, citing Section 8(1)(j) of the RTI Act: “unwarranted invasion of the privacy.”

Najaf Ali Khan, one of the grandsons of Nizam Osman Ali Khan, said he was unaware of the payout. “This is news to me. I don’t know who has claimed it. The Nizam had created 52 trusts but I am not aware of any trust receiving this money,” he said.

**************

Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri asked the Royal Families of Indian Raj to contribute to the National Defence Fund, set up in the wake of the Indo-Chinese skirmish. The Royal family of Hyderabad State contributed five tonnes of gold to the war fund; at the time this had a value of about Rs 75 lakh, or about three-fourth of the annual Privy Purse he received from the Centre. This was the largest contribution by any individual or organisation in India.

National Defence Fund (NDF) is an Indian Government Institution, set up in the year 1962 to receive Royal families funds for the promotion and welfare of the members of the Indian Armed Forces (including paramilitary forces) and their dependents.
