Surprisingly enough, India spared herself from denigrating Pakistan on an international stage. Our last spectacle,courtesy of our "silent leader", was a scathing attack on Western military interventionism on a platform no less than the United Nations ,instead of Pakistan's duplicity. Throwing a lifeline is what we did....


Perhaps we have come to realize that Pakistan can bear torture in private but can't pull the same face if given a public humiliation....

But we have been consistently foolish in presuming that since we are so alike, they will be thinking like we do: let bygones be bygones. This has been the problem with Indians.

We have very short memories, we have very short-time horizons. We have no long-term strategic vision on how to deal with Pakistan beyond hoping that they will pipe down and become peaceful neighbours.

And we have very very long memories.

The only problem with our approach is, Pakistanis do not seem to feel shame, embarrassment or guilt like the rest of us. It could only serve as a warning for the the world.

Why should they feel embarrassed over something they did not do?

Has India provided any actual physical evidence to prove that the Pakistani government was responsible for the Mumbai attacks?

Is America still providing billions of dollars with of military aid to Pakistan every year?

This much shame is enough to embarrass any decent human beings but obviously not enough for terrorists and its supporters.

Is America still providing billions of dollars with of military aid to Pakistan every year?

Is America still bombing Pakistan and killing dozens of Pakistanis on a daily basis (on a mere suspicion they might be terrorists or are linked to one)..IF this not an ultimate insult, then what is?
No self respecting nation takes this kind of punishment..unless it knows, it is her/her citizens who are at fault!!
