About ugly Vietnamese !!! Welcome all

aint we see it more than enough of the vietnamese' bashing on China?
I didnt see yours on the Americans, not even 1%. Aint that qualified fully as "ugly Vietnamese"?:bad:

Let say, being a man, consider other bad words as indicators for us to improve ourselves.
Learn to admit our mistakes.

Korean ppl also know that. They hate a lot guys who don't admit for his mistake.

If you find here the best place to put your hate of other Vietnamese members by bashing China, it's ok. Make yourself at home.

And yes, say bad thing about China is ugly thing Vietnamese did.

And disrespect others also is ugly thing Chinaman did.

during my stay in hanoi my work colleague including danes(many of them in hanoi) & english would go for a drink after work...
hanoi has a unique beer i forgot the name & it goes very well with me.

Are you Malay? It's not so rare to see Malay men also love beer, I talked to them, and surprise to hear they would drink a lot in Vietnam, and enjoy with flavor and price level of Vietnam beer.
Malay beer price may double Vietnam beer.

.
what brilliant words from cowards and the comment carry tons of slavery attitude 8-)
I almost conceive that you are going to kneel down in front of the Americans and say "Thank You"! - That is ugly! :o:

That's your opinion. Tell us more on your argument freely.
I don't know but we call that forgiveness to the ones who admit their mistake.

The ugliness lies in your Country's seemingly failure to address the atrocities that the Americans have done to you with devastating and prolonged consequences that affect generations. Also the vietnam flaggers like you are embracing the Americans without the slightest trace of grievances towards them. No country in the world will do that, :fie::dirol::bad:

You do not understand this matter at all.

the Vietnam Association for Victims of Agent Orange/dioxin (VAVA), filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York in Brooklyn, against several U.S. companies for liability in causing personal injury, by developing, and producing the chemical, and claimed that the use of Agent Orange violated the 1907 Hague Convention on Land Warfare, 1925 Geneva Protocol, and the 1949 Geneva Conventions.

US govt has been paid for land clearans and helped the victims.

How can we do more ?

When you like to speak about atrocity in the war, how many innocent Vietnamese were killed by PLA in 1979, and CPC's friend Khmer Rouge in time from 1976- 1978. ?

There are more than enough Indians and Vietnamese and other false-flagged trolls who are trolling China at all costs 24/7. Why should I have to say the obvious even if true and many times these incidences are overshadowed by the well-beings and positive energies generating massively from my Country :china:

I've just quickly skimmed through the first page of this China & far East section. I don't see any negative threads about China. Maybe only that one thread about the one child policy, but everyone is holding hands and hugging each other in that thread, including all the Viet and Indians commenters.

On the other hand, I always see that 90% of the threads in this section are about some kind of positive news about China. So you guys are definitely overreacting with this "everyone-is-out-here-to-get-me" rhetoric. Thats why I said people like this are insecure. If you dont believe me then just check out the first few pages of this far east section and count the negative thread for yourself. Theres hardly any.

I object to the previous Chinese members' some opinions especially about the "agent orange".Vietnam people are sufferers, not the murderers.

However.I agree with that the most "ugly appearances" are not too "ugly" because it's just mirror images of imperfect laws and regulations. If government can formulate proper procedures and perfect rules, all thing will go right.

I don't want to quarrel. But in my view, the most "ugly" incident of Viets is killing 4 Chinese innocent people, destroying many Chinese factories and stealing their products when anti-china demonstrations. It's similar as anti-Japan demonstration in China that destroying Japanese cars and shops. But I don't know how can they kill innocent people to express their anger and I will never forgive that.

Selfish Nationalism is the most ugly thing.

That is why when China stands up Vietnam becomes midgets, just on this account alone :china:
We have museums, books, statutes, sculptures and films, special comemorating days devoted in detail about the atrocities that the Japanese have done on our People and Country. Our surviving victims sue the Japanese in courts

How about you vietnam other than babbling on the net appearing as viet heroes, what have you done to redress what the american invaders have done to you?:dirol:

We don't judge the characteristic of your nationality.
But doing that way, China and Japan would be forever enemies.
Doing our way, Vietnam never fight former enemies again. Japan, France, USA. There's an exceptional case. It's China.

Btw, we also have museums, books, statutes, sculptures and films ... on war criminal did to us.
We would never forget, but we know how to forgive.

John McCain - our POW in war now work hard to normalize the relation to Vietnam
this is the statue of him caught after his aircraft shot down in 1967 in center of Hanoi.

mccainhotrucbach.jpg

Last month, a Vietnamese official also gave him the photo of that. I don't think that's kneeling down and say Thank you.

McCain anger not by the statue but because they wrote he's from Airforce while he's a Navy.
Of course, he want Hanoiian to correct that in the legend beside his image as a POW.

Is there any similar case in Spain or European, @Carlosa? How to resolve it?
Btw, Vietnam room rates quite cheap. Let tell me in advance if you all plan to travel to Hanoi or Vietnam. If you are not sure whether room rates is cheap or expensive, I will fix it for you.

No, absolutely no taxi problems in Europe, those activities are very well regulated, if any problem you call the police and that's it (but I never had to do that, I say that just in case if there is a problem).

The taxi problem in VN I have to say is probably the worse that I ever heard of in any country. Its really bad. So many tourist get ripped off by them that gives a bad image of Vietnam.

How to solve it? Easy, put them in jail for many years and confiscate the taxi, but I never heard of that in VN, they seem to have "special protection". When one gets caught, they just make them refund the money, why no jail?

Thank you for the offer, I need to go to the Spanish embassy in Hanoi next week, maybe want to get together for a beer? I'm not going to stay, just go in the morning and come back to Danang at night.

By the way, I don't usually have problems like that in VN, I'm talking based on what happens to many other people. I'm experienced with southeast asia, I can handle it ok. But I tell you this, many tourist swear that will never come back to VN again because of those problems. Its really a bad situation.

one thing I want to share to protect you from bad taxi driver.
- Grabtaxi apps. on smartphone
developed from My Teksi app in Malaysia where the taxi issue even worse than Vietnam
I don't believe but there's no meter in Malay taxi.
- Hearing that I study and install My Teksi app to my phone when going there.
then I found that, there's Grabtaxi app available to use in Vietnam too.

It use GPS to locate you, just input your destination and app calculate fare level and show you how many taxi around you.
It show the plate, photo, ... of the driver. And you could choose from them, they are responsible to your secured trip too.

Let's try.

Interesting, thank you.

I never been in Malaysia, but if they don't have meters, then that's a problem for sure, that's a bad system.

Actually, the taxi problem in VN is mainly concentrated in Hanoi and HCMC and probably a few other spots.
In Danang for example, no problem at all. I also never had problems in Mekong Delta.
