About International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics

Dear my Pakistani Brothers & Sisters
How r u all? You all know that I'm new comer at this forum. I am Bangladeshi of origin. But my mom spent her 10 years in Rawalpindi. Well i have pointed out some basic problems and event in Pakistan regarding education. Those are as follow:

* Why dont u start ur space program or try to establish space station in Pakistan like Bikun nur in Azarbaizan

* The universities do not collaborate with top ranked universities like Harvard, MIT like Indian Institution IIT have collaborated with them. So why dont u???

* Why ur students dont participate in Mathematics Olympiad. In Bangladesh students participate in those olympiad. In thos case China and India doing good. So why dont u??? You have the potentiality to do so.

we do them already and still working on them i've heard of western universities collaberating with pakistan there is a space programme but not that far ahead yet as for the last point your right I dunno yeah your right i've never heard of any pakistani students taking part in these things but i hope i'm wrong and they do.

Dont be in Inferiority complexity. We Bangladeshis and Pakistanis are not far behind than India and China. The difference is in our eagerness and mentality.

I have just surf the net and found pakistan send his Team in IMO, 2007. Well done and good job but Pakistan ranked their in 78th position and Bangladesh ranked their in 80th position out of 93 countries.China and India ranked 2nd and 25th position respectively. So our position are not good. We have to try hard to get in top 10 at least. Both our countries have potentiality to proove it definitely.

But u also to encourage female students. And Pakistani students should participate in International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics which will be held in Indonesia this year.So hurry up guys.

Bangladesh participated in 1st International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics. But Pakistan didn't. Why dont u take chance in participation in upcoming olympiad which will be held in Indonesia in this year.

Dear Pakistani brothers and sisters hurry up to make u prepare for 2nd International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics. I urge to u compete their so that world know our muslim country better that we r intelligent, talent, meritorious.

Pakistani schools do take part in Olympiads. I myself took part in a few back when I was in high school there.

Yes, Pakistani students do take part in olympiad but only in math olympiad not in astrology and astrophysics olympiad.
