abhi the none done was accompanied by su30s that were trying to chase the JF17s & mirages that bombed you when one of the su30s was also shot down by the defending F16s but the wreckage crashed on the indian occupied side while the rest turned rail and ditched him. further more, he couldn't even fire a single bullet let alone a missile. So he didn't do anything extra ordinary, was in fact an utter disappointment but international standards. he conducted himself in a professional manner but only on camera. The fact is that you don't know what he divulged off camera and that'll remain as an unanswered question. Highest gallantry medals in the rest of the world are given out for achievements or attempts at achievements, not for doing what they are paid to do in the first place and then miserably failing at it unlike in india which says a lot about the general indian standards. you speak of insufficient evidence? there is sufficient evidence that he didn't shoot down diddly given that all his unfired missiles gave been recovered. Abhi is thankful that he was captured by PAK forces who took care of him and had it been some other organization he would have been beaten to death! Its like you get clean bowled and you get another chance to play by your opponent is a big humiliation that indians are celebrating.

NOT a single western defence website (not some paid blogger) supports Indian claim! Heck it would have been Russia's big win had Mig-21 shot down F-16! Again not a SINGLE Russian website supports Indian claim.
The fact that India had to show off 2 random Su-30 formation during India defense day is a big indication that India is trying to cover up for its defeat. No serial number of those Su-30 were provided and not even squadron patches were shown..

His communication and radar was jammed and had no idea where he was heading
and all of his missiles where recovered.
You have been exposed to too much Indian propaganda that even Russian (after all it was their missile and Mig that apparently shot down american fighter jet) have refused to believe in Indian story.
All of his missiles have been recovered and Indians still living in myths.
