But we in Pakistan gave him more respect. We could have left him to our northern brothers and sons in Kashmir and they would have made stew out of him but Pak army rescued him. Gave him respect food clothes and returned him to his family with dignity.

We are not obsessed with him at all! instead we are shocked and surprised that a pilot shot down, failed mission, earning a title abhinonedone fantastic tea is being looked upon in India like he's a hero and he conquered the skies. Beta tum log hamaray liye time pass ho nothing else. Chest thumping won’t change the reality that PAF bombed India and IAF pilots in chase were hunted down to the ground. Such a shame! However, I believe most Indians believe in Gandhi giry, no shame, get slapped on one side, would turn other side for another slap so it’s pretty understandable why he’s a hero to Indians and Indians think we are obsessed but in reality he’s just a joke amongst us. You guys are best at entertainment.
