Abe's Strategy: Rearrange Region's Power Balance

exactly, you have no say. it is a wishful thinking if you think you can misuse Russia for your egoistic interests in East Asia.

China and Russia use each other to contain against the US globally, that's it.

Russia now is neutral in Asia's affair, just like China is neutral in the issues of Ukraine.

not really. US shale gas is much cheaper than yours.

everyone knows LNG is much more expensive plus shale gas extraction and the price is extremely uncompetive

this is how much american gas will cost in europe

These Viets are worshipping their US master like some kind of invincible god, it is impossible to persuade them.

Their biggest mentor here is gambit, another American wannabe Viet.

Japan wants to take part into the issue? then china should send few hundreds ships and another HD-981 to Diaoyu Islands. There will be real reason for Japan to fight with china. and will see how Japan rebalance its resources to confront with China in East China sea

there is no such thing: Sino-Russia's East alliance.
the Russians are smart enough not to fall into your trap. the basic of alliance is trust. But there is no mutual trust between your two´s.

Do you read the article?
Putin will visit Japan later this year.

your foreign policy sucks. your aggression sucks. So America is keen to protect its allies in East Asia. What makes you think the US will not allow Japan military build-up? Because you think so? Japan is US ally, not slave.

Every country looks after their interest first and foremost. So there is no permanent friends, only permanent interests, unless there is some kind of union, like EU or a strong and enduring military alliance structure like NATO.

What makes you think Japan will remain a permanent ally of the US? It will remain an ally as long as a US-Japan alliance serves Japan's national interest.

The US is very very apprehensive of Japanese military build up, because it means less dependence on US led security structure and more freedom to switch sides sometime in the future. But unfortunately that is the direction Japan is pushing towards. So in my personal opinion, a Japanese military build up and changing the pacifist constitution will be a good thing for China, as it will be one more step towards the direction of Japanese freedom to choose sides.

So in a way China, by becoming assertive and creating some situations is helping Japan to achieve this goal of becoming stronger, more independent and eventually kicking out US from Asia. Never forget that Japan was defeated and occupied by the US and the occupation still continues.

Why should China mind Japan getting close to Russia? By getting pushed around by US in Ukraine, Russia have pretty much decided to be with Asia, so it is all in the family, so to speak.

It may sound a little counter intuitive, but if you think about it a little, it may just make sense. At least to me that is how it looks.

We always know that Japan is born jackal and always wants to claim China's land.

In 1937, China was weak like a new born defenseless elephant calf and got bullied by the jackal.

But today, China is on the way to grow into a fully mature elephant bull, and the jackal will never get anything on him anymore.

And one kick from the elephant bull, the jackal's life will be ended once for all.

We know that Japan is always very imperialistic and greedy, but right now they are too weak to do anything on us, and we don't want to spend too much energy with them. Since all those seemingly disputes between China and Japan are in fact the part of the China-US proxy war. Japan is just a cannon fodder at the best.

You stupid. We just signed massive deal with Russia and both are core member in SCO. That is TRUST. Our global strategic interest is literally IDENTICAL. That is, my friend, what you call TRUST. We also trust each other that we will conduct joint exercise, joint development on aircraft, and joint GPS and space cooperation. THAT IS TRUST. LOL

You are full of bullshit. Country leader visits one another is part of diplomacy. We visit the US despite hating each other. What's your point? Let see what deal come out of Putin's visit, alright? Relax, my Vietnamese friend. Our foreign policy of non-intervention is a classic model for world powers to follow. I always want to remind the world community that our foreign policy have not cause any war in the world like America's active intervention policy which kill innocent people and cause economic and political hell in Middle-East.

I have provided the reason why the US would not allow a full military buildup as it will reduce the US's prestigious position in Asia as protector and puppet master. The US has national interest in keeping Japan from challenging US's position as leader. And I doubt Japan has that capability to challenge the US. Japan is a heavily reliant on foreign goodwill and connection. They are not self-reliant country to have independent thought. There is consequence for being a self-reliant country in the global order.

Please expound on your findings.

My old post:
This is the list of what happened under his watch:
  • Toshikatsu Matsuoka, Agriculture Minister killed himself during a Scandal which he corrupts 5 Million Yen for stationary sets. He's also the first minister that killed himself after WW2!
  • Yukiko Sakamoto, Vice Foreign Minister forced to resign because of another Scandal.
  • Yanagisawa, Health Minister Called women a "Baby Making Machine!"

Another things about the Abenomic is not even a new idea. Abe's party the LDP has been in power for 56 years. In the 60, 70 & 80 During Japan's Boom. The LDP as a mercantilism's party weaken Japan's yen to ease export. Then they uses Japan's Export to support Japanese Corporation in a system called "Two-Tiered Economy." Back during its hey day Japan was known as a country that produces Quality Products & Also known as a Low-Cost Exporter, but as the Yen strengthen the Bubble begun to Pop.

(cool photo, okay enough with the history lesson)

The same thing could happen to Abe's Japan. Because his Abenomic is a temporary measures (not to mention he stole old LDP's play book), not a permanent one. His QE will probably serves it purposes to avert the issue for the moment, but it will not last. I mean seriously who actually believes in his shit!

Oh & he also called Obama "Bush." Think about it.

You had a great, visionary leader, Hatoyama. Why did the Japanese voter feed him to the US-controlled business and bureaucracy so easily?

I really hoped to see him have enough time to capitalize on his elections pledges. A big opportunity missed.

PLS put some nice looking oil rigs in the waters of Japan.

But I think you as coward never dare to do such thing. unlike Vietnam, Japan has mighty economics and military means, and last but not least protection from America.

Sounds like you have the entire video game planned out. One problem though, the real world isn't like the war gamers blood lust here on PDF. Things are done much more logically and rationally in the 'real world'

There are still conflict within NATO members. In 1974, Turkey invaded Cypress.
