I said bcz pak has eastern threat as well. We just started fencing western border. We have more reservation from Afghanistan.
Except quetta we have no contentment in entire Balochistan. As we felt safe from Iran side. But when our economy improves I am sure we will increase our troops number and guard all borders.

We understand the Pak-Afghanistan border is long and a bigger problem for Pakistan right now and Pakistan cannot fully secure that border and the areas near the Iran border, but you must understand that this means terrorists are having safe havens in the border areas which allows them to do 'hit and run' attacks against Iranian troops.

I think the solution is to work together and do joint operations in those Pakistani border areas to root out the terrorists, we can stop our shelling and work together instead. Even if it is a 99% Iranian operation, it will be planned together and with permission of Pakistan and it will benefit both nations. That is what I think is the best solution.

No terrority can ever be 100% "secure" from hit and run attacks like this when the terrorists can simply go back over the border into their save haven in Pakistan.

A country that gives terrorists safe haven to commit attacks against other countries should prepare for the other country to eradicate the terrorists if they don't want to or can't.

I am afraid things don't work this way. The best thing that can resolve this is Intel Sharing. If Iran claims that these miscreants have safe heavens in Pakistan, Surely Iran have Intel about there whereabouts. Share it With Pakistan and we can root them out. Baluchistan is a scarcely populated no mans land. Whole F**** Province have population a little bigger then Lahore city and that too mostly resides around Quetta City. Which is a big headache for Pakistani Security officials as well due to its sheer size and lack of population.

As far as joint operations with Iran inside Pakistan are concerned i am sure its your honest opinion with good intent and not trolling attempt to bait in sentiments. This is not Possible. Pakistan will never allow any other country army to operate on its land. And the trust buildup with Iran took a massive hit after Kulbhushan Yadhav Episode you have to understand this and it will take time to improve. This was not hit and run... it was actually no hit and make hostage case.
According to the OP (Iranian source) non of your guard is hit and are apparently in captivity.
PAK Iran border is un-inhabited for miles, so any movement can be easily spotted.
You are free to fire, when movement is on your side of border.

Tens of thousands of criminal Afghani/ Pakistani baloch drug and people smugglers rot in Iran's jails. They kidnap Iranian border guards like a drug mafia and then demand ransom to release their relatives. They use Pakistani Balochistan to hold our guards hostage. This is the real issue here.To get the 5 border guards released we had to also release some very bad people from our jails. Pakistan has to do something to enforce law and order on its side. This is not a secret. Youtube is full of programs on the drugs/ gun running and people smuggling lawlessness on Pak/ Iran border.
