A well planned strategy by MQM ANP PPP on Taliban threat and bomb attacks

See my point here is that MQM own karachi right thats what they claim, if they knew that taliban's are making serious attempts to spread terror in karachi they shud have resigned from assemblies or pressurized PPP for strict action rather then just giving statemnts and all.

You live in Karachi … So I think you knows very well MQM position … You know PPP is used to play Sindh card … After BB’s murder PPP got much sympathize from Sindhis … That’s its was their compulsion to form government with PPP … If they didn’t PPP play its old tactic that they sit with Musharraf & PMLQ who are BB’s murderer … Because they are “MATARWEY” so they will never sit with Sindhis … And it was proved later … So whenever MQM got saperated from power … They started propaganda that they like to sit with Punjabis not with us … You know this situation created many problems for those groups of Urdu spoken people who live in interior Sindh … They can’t compete with “WADERAS” ……………

to deploy army it will have to be initiated fro today, and it will hinder the elections campaigning of these parties, MQM is not against it but it says they should be deployed in sensitive locations like lyari etc

Why just lyari? And other locations are not sensitive? Each and every booth is sensitive due to the open threat. The reason is obvious why these parties do not want anyone else overseeing their stamping operations. They have done it previously and if they do not deploy the army it might just happen again. I fail to see the reason why they would not want their voters the extra protection.

basically its not upto MQM to decide where to deploy army its upto ECP, if ECP feels it will deploy, and if it doesnt feel it wont

also if stamping is the problem then army should be deployed in each and every polling booth of pakistan which is impossible

mere bhai how come 13 years, MQM even boycotted the local bodies election so it were jamaat in power for four-five years before 2002

after 2002, everybody knows the development work done by MQM

MQM hardly had any power last five years, but i agree they were hand in glove with PPP, and they failed to negotiate a deal with PPP regarding peace in the city, but then MQM was given more useless ministry despite having more seats, it was given ministry of overseas pakistan where as even ANP had ministry of railway

so you can easily figure how was MQM treated in the government

if MQM had been in oposition then karachi had seen even more killings and open target killings like the one in 90s

MQM was seen spreading the sectarian intolerance back then, how could MQM act when all they said was seen as conspiracy theory

but MQM tried to gather people's attention and when it actually happened people blame on MQM for not doing enough?

I accept they tried to gather people but u cant consider this a serious effort to save the city which u claim to be ur stong hold, MQM leadership must accept their failure along with other two parties in getting rid of taliban's. The biggest issue with the previous govt was its stupid interior minister shetan malik whose role model is sultan rahi, he had not made a single srious effort to save people of pakistan from this menace of taliban's and MQM kept on supporting him, turned him into a doctor from a famous sialkot barber.

MQM were not controlling law enforcement agencies ... They have been crying for 5 years that talibanization is being formed in Karachi ... But ANP & PPP ridiculed to them and didn't take it serious ... Now it has proved that their reports were correct ...........
