A week after New Delhi attacks, India tries to play down Iran link

Indians wont Tell it Cozz the Attack was Carried By Indian Shias, backing & Funding from Iran... Due to the On Going election India Government Dont wanna Arrest a local Minority Population & The Another reason is international embarrassment as Indian Locals were involved in it...

Indian shias have not been involved in terrorism till now. So one cannot point fingers at them.

Nobody is saying Iran is behind the attack. We can only speculate. Your points are valid too.

India have realised Iran has nothing to do with this attack. Israel was behind this attack so India can't say much, they have to accept their military allies can attack in their nation attacking their own people. It's part of being in alliance with a terrorist state.

@Indian Members ... until things are proven, we need to stop blaming anyone, be it Iran, Indian Shias or even Israel. Let someone take responsibility or let the investigations at least finish first, and then we can go from there.

That was Khatami, who was quite moderate as compared to some other Iranian leaders. I cannot preach to anybody about nukes, especially after the way the west handled the Libya issue. But IMHO Iran will benefit from greater democratization and moderate leaders.

Anyway as regards the bombing incident, India should take a serious view against those responsible. It is not correct to abdicate the responsibility to protect diplomats. What exact steps should be taken, if a state actor proves to be responsible, can be debated.

India was pretty quick to blam you know who after 26/11 perhaps even during, what's wrong with Israel blaming the group thats been terrorizing and tormenting Israelis all over since only when GOD knows when!

Delhi car blast: Injured envoy leaves for Israel

Dr Arun Bhanot, chief of spine surgery at the hospital who was attending on Tal said, "We discharged her after our team of multi-speciality doctors attending on her felt she was medically fit.

"We got an intimation from the embassy asking us if she can be discharged. We agreed as her condition had improved and she was recovering well.

On Monday evening after the blast, she was brought to the hospital bleeding profusely. A shrapnel measuring 1.5cm from the blast site had got stuck in her spine putting pressure on the nerve. Another shrapnel had cut her liver which led to heavy bleeding.

Bhanot said, "Because the pressure was on the nerves of the spine she had become paralytic in the left leg when she was brought here. We removed the shrapnel, fixed the spine and also managed her liver. Her paralysis in her leg has partially recovered. In another two weeks time we are hopeful she will be able to walk around."
