I apologize for taking so long to respond. So how did a liberal guy like you ended up becoming a Republican?

I just became an American citizen last year and I’m planning to register as independent, since quite frankly I don’t like certain policies of both the major parties. Give me some feedback.

So you have no issues with Obama administration’s policies, I’m surprised, let me ask you this, Pres. Obama believes that IS is not Islamic and the Afghan Taliban are not terrorists, do you agree with him.

I usually don't pay attention until we get close to the Conventions for both parties. What question did I not answer that is relevant to this thread?

Yes, I agree. USA senate has more republican members than democratic members. And as we all know, the Senate has a powerful check on the government of the day. Sometime it seems like Obama's ideas/decisions have less importance. Correct me if I am wrong.

Words do matter my friend, Obama is not a politician of some Banana Republic he is the president of United States, he is the head of state, head of government and the commander in chief of the Armed Forces. The point is, how can one solve the problem if one does not even acknowledge it.

Once upon a time Obama used to refer to the Afghan war as a good war which we must win “the central front, on our battle against the terrorism”. Today the Taliban terrorists are on the offensive while Obama administration wants to negotiate with them, one does not have to be Einstein to understand a simple principle of war that you do not negotiate from the position of weakness.

Since he became the president terrorism has spread. In Syria, while we are bombing Al-Nusra and IS, our so-called coalition partners, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Qatar are supporting Al-Nusra, which we all know is part of Al Qaeda.

I read it but what is your point? What if the whole region needs a makeover and therefore all existing structures need to be taken down first?
