A US Air Force war game shows what the service needs to hold off — or win against — China in 2030

No, US is rallying nearby countries and being friendly with them so they will allow them to station their military. my take is china US is gona bring so much weaponary in Japan, Phillipines, etc that china wont invade taiwan.

and this is basically what a cold war is

Vietnam will not let US fighter take off. I dont think Pinoy will, especailly if Duterte gang on power.

Singapore Malaysia Thailand Korea will politely refuse. They cant offend China.

Only Japan can be count on in this situation.

But Japan is too close. On the day US fighters take off from Futenma to intevene in Taiwan, the runway is going to have a big hole next second.

Even if can, it will take time to mobilize fighter planes, weapon etc to the bases on Philliphinese, Japan, Korea, Taiwan etc. It will give China to destroy them.

Those bases will be easy targets for DF-26.

are you stupid you claim the entire south sea is yours and yet we sail in and out and you watch from the distance. if for example we claim gulf of mexico is ours come and try and sail your ships there they will get sunk.

china is the biggest pussy to have US sail directly to their sea. and i dont know need to confer of china spinless-ness and pussy-ness that you lost to indians in 1968, bloody indians and its hilarious to think with track record you can take on US lol

-further evdience of ur pussyness. we took Huaweii's grand daughter. the guy who finances your CCP yet u detained candians? dont even have the balls to take on US directly?
Lol.. must have trigger your nerves when u go personal. We claim the SCS islet and not the whole sea. Get your facts ,right. Of cos stupid US media will spin the story to give u a moral victory.

You yet to answer me why spinless US didn't retaliate against Iran when they declare war by attacking your base. And spinless US didn't recognize Taiwan as independent country but instead stick with one China policy. US strong!

Huawei daughter very likely will not expatriate back to US as shall canada wouldn't want their 2 diplomats to be hanged. What is there to worry about? :enjoy:

detected.

But you only calculate the destroyers. How about fregat, covete, submarine, litoral combat ,etc?

Besides, it is not clear from where the data you bring and how accurate it is.
For example, currently China can produce 2 x Type 055 per year, hence 10 years from 2020 the number of 055 are supposed to be 22 instead of just 16 as displayed in your picture; same case with Type 052.

US have allies to fill in the gaps. The JMSDF especially are equipped to deal with underwater threats while the USN deals with the surface fleets. In times of war the US are never alone other country's ships serves as force multipliers if you want to pull a number games you should also include Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, UK, France, Germany, Philippines & that's not even including regional partners like India or Indonesia or even NATO ships to add to the total numbers of ships.

What does everyone got to gain by helping USA against China? Now China is the biggest trading partners of most of the states you mentioned above.

I guess they might as well help China to attack USA.

Is this the source edited by white american for China?

Indeed, the same allies france who refused to join against anti-China. The same allies of south Korea and Japan who are arch rival that never see eye to eye of each other.

And indonesian who are wary of American unconditional support for Israel and their anti Muslim policy.

You have to much regards to those so called allies of American who are just bunch of loosely packed coalition with no much coordination.

South China is just China playground. Trying fight in our playground will only burn yourself badly.

US stands no chance winning a war at china door step in 2030.
As of today, China is no longer produce 4th generation fighter. Only 4.5! The number is about 100+ per year.
China:
2010
Navy
Carrier: 0
LPH: 0
Cruiser: 0
Aegis Destroyer: 4
Advance frigate: 6
Air force
4th: 500
4.5th: 0
5th: 0

2020
Navy
Carrier: 2
LPH: 1
Cruiser: 2
Aegis Destroyer: 24
Advance frigate: 31
Air force
4th: 800
4.5th: 600
5th: 60

2030
Navy
Carrier: 4+
LPH: 6+
Cruiser: 18+
Aegis Destroyer: 36+
Advance frigate: 48+
Air force
4th: 500
4.5th: 1500+
5th: 500+

Actually by 2030, it will be 50:50 if US can successfully defend Taiwan against Chinese invasion. If Japan comes all in then China will almost certainly lose.

You need to bear in mind that the US 5th gen fleet will comprise the following just on their aircraft carriers and assault ships:

F-35B/C: 700.

Add in nearly 200 F-22s and you can see that the Chinese will have a tough time.

Then you forget 3000 ballistic missile is just around the corner capable of reaching most corner in south China sea. Coming into our playground and fight will most likely get yourself burn.

How many ballistic missile of mobile and precision strike do US and their allies have? Zero...

Very difficult for ballistic missiles to hit moving ships out in the open ocean.

Remember that USN has ballistic missile submarines requipped with hundreds of land-attack tomahawk cruise missiles - the firing will go both ways.

LOL the relations you just mentions are only transactional. Meanwhile US have allies that signed treaties specifically for this reason. China have no one to help them in case of war.

That also doesn't include regional partners like India that have a bone to pick with the CCP or even Vietnam.

No, US studies show the US consistently losing today. It's already past 50/50 in a Chinese invasion of Taiwan, that's why the US has to indulge in the ridiculous fantasies that the troll OP posted.
Japan won't come to help Taiwan because no matter what happens between the US and China, Japan will be annihilated if it interferes.

However difficult it is, China has already solved it. It doesn't matter whether or not you believe it, the US military believes it and they're the intended audience.

Losing how exactly? Even the op link said the US will win with less the estimated casualties.

The real question here, "would the US be willing to go to war with China over Taiwan"?

It's not like it would be a peace of cake; the US military will take serious hits and so will the US economy. Even if they eventually are successful in defending Taiwan and are able to destroy the Chinese Military and Economy, it would be at what cost to the US Military and the US Economy?
