A shameful protocol arrangement on part of Nawaz Sharif.

Sir let alone assumptions, do you think Chief of Armed Forces deserves to be treated so in a meeting with the 2nd tier foreigners?

1.Definitely not. But Nawaz isn't dumb, and we cannot expect him to be rude to his Mily Chief. There must be some explanation.

2. Having said that I must add that Maj Nadir Pervez, SJ, a known performer as minister and an honest man beside being a war hero, was not given a ML ticket by Nawaz, just because Nadir had attended Musharraf's daughter's wedding! Having known Musharraf from the PMA days, it would have been mean of Nadir not to attend the function for which President Musharraf had personally phoned him.

No matter what, Kiyani is The Chief of Armed Forces, and thats the office which should not lose its respect.. especially while dealing with foreigners...

these type of cheap tactics will not make nawaz achieve its objective of relocating power in prime minister house, this is only derogatory and insulting to a person you are dealing with, without realizing that its actually an insult to the office he/she is holding... :pissed:

p.s

you must establish your self worthy of the office of prime minister, not by inflicting insult upon other state institution heads...

it should not be like that my ego is bigger than yours.

wrong, Wrong, WRONG !!!

If there is something wrong then its the presence of army chief it is not required at all.

He should be at his office and should only meet military officials of different countries if they want to meet him.

Governance should be left to the government elected by people.

That happens in India where Chiefs and Generals have to go to court even for petty matters. In a Muslim society the military are held in special esteem by the nation. A Chief is an institution truly in a Muslim country. This cannot be judged by Hindu standards.

Im all for civilian supremacy, but these are not the tactics to prove supremacy of PM's office, after all these are official positions of the State that have their respect and which should follow proper protocol..

however, hopefully there was some honest mistake here... and not some bad advice by the people who surround nawaz .

p.s.

by the way what could be that hard stuff in Kiyani's pocket or below pocket?

.
who cares about Kiyani, the point being is the insult inflicted upon the institution's office he is holding..

because of a chair? I would be more concerned with the track record of coups. but then that's just me...

No wonder you guys have coups... we can see how mighty your armies are too. "special esteem" does not trump corruption and being above the law in civilized countries. Btw- what are you doing in Canada, it seems Muslim countries are so much superior?

The real question is WHY should the COAS be present in a meeting with the foreigners AT ALL?

Now is that the reason why Pakistan EVEN after 6+ decades of existence has only a "Bonsai Democracy" to run itself???
A trait that is shared by some 'Muslim' countries with their "Hide and Seek" Military Coups, droves of Civilians being executed/imprisoned in cyclical fashion.
Nope that is not any Hindu Standards.

.
its a BLOODY CHAIR GET OVER IT! who cares I am sure KIYANI didn't care! neither did Nawaz have hidden STAR PLUS motives behind it!
