A scam a day keeps India poor and vulnerable

Initially , it wil be hard and it will slow down work and activity but this is what we need to do NOW in order to prepare for the future. India going the way it is, is destined to fail if it does not correct its situation.

So basically you want a new organization which is overburdened with cases and takes ages to do anything.
Is not that the main problem with our justice system which is why we have such a big mess.
Why create an army of beurocrats who will judge another army of beurocrats?

More than the corruption I am worried about the policy and reforms stagnation which has kicked in the past 1 year and the growth slowing down. Corruption was always there and India was growing inspite of it in the past decade. And moreover I am worried about the National Advisory Council(headed by Sonia to oversee UPA manifesto) which has the socialist leanings and bearing down upon the government.

The highs of Indian GDP was in 1700s and the low was in 1952. India was always rich except for the past 300 years. This is an opportunity to go back to the old glorious days but I get a feeling that the opportunity is being lost. And I do not see any capable leaders on the horizon except for couple of them.

All policies and reforms are geared towards vote bank politics. Who cares about Indian economy or its people. We compare ourselves with Pakistan and Bangladesh but we fail to see what we know deep inside. In 1960s Pakistan was the torch bearer of reforms in south Asia and countries like South Korea wanted to go on its path. Look at where South Korea is today. The tragedy is that we fight on this forum with brother from Bangladesh and Pakistan. We fail to recognize that the first enemy of every citizen in this sub continent is the tainted political class. We are led to believe that Pakistan is our enemy and Pakistanis are led to believe we are their enemies but the truth is the people who want us to believe that are busy stuffing their coffers with kickbacks from Bofors and coffins.

If India has to progress then the voters have to make their choice. The "chalta hai" attitude must go. Citizens have to get their hands dirty and question injustice. We have a golden weapon in RTI. Make use of it and make corruption a path for the fringe. Accountability in public life should be a norm. High time India awakens and converts the dream to a reality. It is time people who are patriotic and passionate contribute to nation building in their own way. I am sure each of us has seen injustice. Let us not limit it to drawing room discussions. Act. Pay your taxes and make sure that money does not end up in the pockets of ministers.
